Viola was feeling great. Her man had given her immeasurable pleasure earlier by making sweet, sweet, sweet love to her. He was just so great at moving his body and making her feel complete. It wasn't just sex anymore. It was making love. It was two people connecting through their hearts and souls and all those cheesy lovey dovey things.

After they made love, they lounged together in bed basking in the afterglow as they ate the Chinese food Nick had ordered. The food was so delicious and made her feel even greater. It was refreshing to spend a relaxing day with Nick. She was so used to them fighting about something or receiving upsetting news that she nearly forgot what it was like to just be with Nick.

These were the simple moments she clung to. They helped remind her that she did have a future with Nick. They were still together despite the harshness of reality they have both had to endure from the time they met till now. Plus they were doing their best to heal the wounds of the past and move on toward the future.

The future... Her mind had been fixated on the idea of marriage to Nick ever since looking at Olivia and Anderson's wedding pictures earlier in the day. She really hoped that she and Nick could get married someday and that they'd have a happily ever after like their friends. That was her ultimate fantasy after all.

When they finished eating, Nick threw away their trash and crawled back into bed with her. His jaw was unshaven, his blonde hair was unkempt, and he was only wearing a pair of sweat pants. Warm and fuzzies crowded her stomach as she admired how effortlessly sexy he looked. Just looking at him got her engine revved up again. She could not resist moving closer to him and placing kisses all over his jaw, chin, and neck.

"Whoa." Nick was slightly taken aback from her sudden attack on him. Her hands touched wherever they could reach. She wanted him again and again. She just could not get enough of him and his body.

"You're so hot...," she murmured when she reached for the elastic band of his sweat pants and attempted to pull it down. There was a new fire between her thighs and she needed him to put it out again.

"God Viola... wait."

"Wait?" she questioned incredulously after Nick took her hands away from his body. She didn't think Nick ever wanted to "wait" when it came to sex. Her core throbbed impatiently.

"Look Viola..." He took a brief pause and ran his fingers through his hair. "There's something I want to tell you."

Viola's heart started to race in anticipation. What was so important that he had to put a pause on having sex?

"What is it?" she asked.

Nick's face was serious. It seemed whatever he was about to tell her was going to be a big deal. She caught one of his hands fiddling with the pocket of his sweat pants. Her mind started to think about all the possibilities until she settled on one possibility... Could it be? He couldn't be doing what she thought he was going to do?

She tried not to look too excited but there really couldn't be anything else! She had always fantasized about this specific moment but she didn't think it would finally come true so soon. She tried to keep a straight face as she braced herself for him to propose marriage to her!

"Fuck," Nick groaned, "This is harder than I thought..."

Oh my God he's so nervous, how cute, Viola thought as she tried to be patient.

"Aw, you don't have to be nervous. It's just me and the twins here," she said reassuringly.

Nick took a deep breath and let out a long exhale. "Okay. I went out last night..."

Oh my God he bought the ring last night. Probably when I was sleeping.

"And the paparazzi caught me."

Oh my God he wants to propose before I find out from the press. How sweet!

"There's these pictures..."

Oh my God he wanted to show me the ring before the press published the pictures of him buying the ring.

"It just didn't cross my mind that paparazzi would be there. I just wanted to go out, you know?"

Oh my God this is beginning to get agnozing. Just spit it out already!

"But yeah... I wanted to tell you there's these pictures before you saw them."

Viola was beaming. "I think that's so sweet of you to consider my feelings first."

"Yeah?" he questioned with a surprised look.

She nodded her head and waited for him to resume talking. He could not stop fidgeting. His nervousness was palpable but she wanted him to speed up the proposal process!

"If I could take it back I would."

Wait. What? Did he want to take back the ring he bought for her?

"I shouldn't have answered Chris' call and went out... I thought I could handle keepin' up with all that stuff but it just ended up bitin' me in the ass afterward."

Huh? Viola's smile wavered. She was confused. What was he talking about?

"So I totally get it if you get pissed. You got every right to be."

Viola didn't like where his words were headed.

"The reason why Harriet kept callin' today is because she got hold of some paparazzi pictures of me and Kim together last night at the club I went to with Chris and some other guys. The pictures are kinda deceivin' but I swear nothin' happened."

"Oh," was her only response.

"So yeah, that's all I wanted to tell you."

The wind in Viola's sails quickly disappeared. She just wanted to sink underneath the blankets and wallow over how stupid she was. Why was she so foolish to think he would propose to her? She hated herself for jumping to such a big conclusion so soon. He didn't even have a ring and she got herself all excited for nothing.

With her desire to have sex with Nick again long gone, she adjusted her position and laid down on the bed. Her ring-less left hand rested on top of her ginormous belly. Once again she let herself get sucked into a silly fantasy.

Nick copied her position and made himself comfortable next to her. He rested his right hand over the hand she had on her belly. His thumb gently rubbed her own thumb. She focused her attention on their hands as they silently laid together.

Going from extremely excited to the depths of disappointment was a harsh crash. Her heightened hormones weren't any help either. How did she miss him going out? Why was he even at a club in the first place? Why was Kim there? Why were there pictures that Nick and Harriet seemed paranoid about?

A picture is worth a thousand words and if there is more than one picture then she was curious to see them. She wanted to see what was making both Nick and Harriet worried. Were the pictures so bad? There was a part of her that was afraid to look at them. Did he and Kim...

No. She was not going to let her mind go that route. At that moment Nick was with her and by her side. That meant something. She also had to give him credit for making the effort to tell her before she found out about the pictures from another source. That showed her he cared.

"I know you're mad and I'm sorry Viola."

"I'm not really mad." I'm really just sad you didn't propose like I thought you were going to do and I haven't seen the pictures so I can't form any judgment yet.

"You aren't?"

"No. Thanks for telling me."

Nick turned onto his side and faced her. He let out what sounded like a sigh of relief. "I'm glad that's all cleared up."

"I wish I could go out. Why do you get to have all the fun?" she asked.

"I'd love to bring you out but the doctor said you need to rest in bed as much as you can."

Viola frowned. "I know."

"But honestly it wasn't all that fun without you there," Nick said.

"Then why did you go out in the first place?" she asked.

"You were sleepin' and I didn't want to wake you up. Chris called and I was bored so I thought I could just hang out and do some male bonding stuff ya know? I didn't think Kim would be there."

"You were bored? Oh my goodness! I've been cooped up in your house practically since I've been here. I'm the bored one! I actually miss civilization and just being outside."

"And I'll take you wherever you want when the doctor says it's okay."

Viola masked her disappointment with a nod and an understanding look. The frustration was brewing inside of her. She didn't get the marriage proposal she expected. There were pictures of her boyfriend and his gorgeous super model female friend floating around somewhere. She was a prisoner in a Beverly Hills mansion. Her stomach was the size of Jupiter. In her head she screamed loud.

Ahhhhhhhh!

Is this what cabin fever felt like? Nick seemed to be in his own orbit. A lazy smile rested on his lips while his fingers caressed her cheek. His nervousness had evaporated and was immediately replaced with lust. She wasn't in the mood to have sex anymore. She had to find a way to kill his mood.

Her face contorted in faux-pain. "I think I have gas."

The lust in his blue eyes disappeared. "It must be the Chinese food."

"Yeah, that must be it."

"I think I'm gonna get on the treadmill and run the Chinese food off before I get the gas attack too. Call me if you need anything."

The wheels began to turn in Viola's head. "How long are you going to work out?"

"With what I ate probably an hour."

"All right. Have fun."

When Nick was out of sight, Viola reached for his laptop. After some clicking and typing she was face to face with the pictures from a link provided on one of his fan sites. His fans had always been extremely quick in finding paparazzi pictures of him.

Nick was standing on a sidewalk and he looked like he had a lot to drink. His cheeks were flushed and his eyes were glassy. Clinging on to him for dear life was Kim and her perfect body.
Something like that would never happen to her. If she went out no male super model would latch on to her.

Although there was no public display of affection happening between Nick and Kim, Viola couldn't help think about how picture perfect they looked together. They were practically Ken and Barbie standing on a sidewalk. Viola frowned. She wasn't even close to Barbie status. She was more along the lines of Cabbage Patch Doll: short and extremely chubby.

Before she could go further into her self-loathing, the babies began to kick. She was about to shut down Nick's laptop when an animated Starbucks banner on the side of the webpage caught her eye. The animation showcased the frappuccino in such an appetizing way. A craving for something sweet began to take over her tongue. She could sure use a frappuccino from Starbucks and a pastry too... something chocolate like a brownie!

Nick wouldn't buy her those things though, especially after the last time she had a frappuccino she vomited. She wanted one though despite the consequences. The voice in her head was cheering her on to sneak out to Starbucks for a short while and come back. Nick had snuck out so she could do it too right? He was preoccupied anyway so it's not like he would notice.

Viola directed the web browser to Starbucks' website and searched for the nearest location. Once she found that one was about two miles away she was even more encouraged to leave. She shut down Nick's laptop and scratched her belly.

To go or not go? That was the question.

She got out of bed and searched for Nick's keys. She found them sitting on the dresser near his wallet. Her fingers plucked them from their spot and placed them in her pocket. Then she retrieved her purse and checked to see if she had any money in her own wallet. She discovered she had $15.

A rush of adrenaline surged through her veins. She now understood how teenagers felt when they snuck out of the house. She got dressed and put on her shoes which were a bit snug since her feet were swollen. As quietly as she could, she descended the stairs. When she made it past the front door, she briskly walked toward Nick's BMW.

Once Viola was inside, she adjusted the seat to accommodate her humungous belly. She couldn't believe she was doing this. Nick was going to freak out if he found out. Her pregnancy hormones didn't care that much though. If he could go out and have fun with a sexy blonde, she could go out and have fun with a delicious frappuccino!

She turned on the ignition and began to drive. It had been so long since she had driven a car. Even though the trip was less than 5 minutes it helped sooth her nerves. She enjoyed being a part of the hustle and bustle of Beverly Hills.

When she turned into the Starbucks parking lot she noticed it looked busy. There was only one parking spot left that she was lucky enough to park in. Her plan was to order a venti caramel frappuccino and two brownies. Then she'd quickly drive back home, eat and drink her treats all before Nick was done on the treadmill.

Viola stood in line with four people in front of her. The place was very active. Patrons were scattered around waiting for their drinks and sitting at tables. Being in a different environment was such a nice change. Spending time with Nick was nice but constantly spending time inside a room was driving her mad.

"Viola?"

The sound of her name made her freeze. She wasn't sure who said her name or if the person was even addressing her. There were other Viola's in the world. The line moved so she took two steps forward. Then she heard her name again in a louder voice that seemed to be coming from behind her. She turned around to see who kept calling her name.

Oh my God. Her stomach fell to the floor and she immediately regretted sneaking out to fulfill her sweet tooth craving.

"Viola! I knew it was you!"

She gulped as she was taken into a tight bear hug by Aaron Carter.
