Episode Ten: Sweet Kisses

 

"Wake up sleepy head! It's already noon," I heard Nick say. Groaning, I hugged the pillow in my grasp tight, and turned over, trying to get back to sleep.

"Don't make me throw a glass of water at you," he threatened pulling at my arms but I put my weight down on the bed so that he couldn't pick me up.

My eyes flew open the moment I felt his lips cover mine. He smiled looking down at me, his blue eyes glowing. I gave in and took his hand as he led me to the terrace of his house.

"What's all this for?" I asked sleepily staring at the mini-table for two with very delicious looking food on it.

"Just take a seat Liz," he said pulling the cute little plastic chair and gesturing me to sit down. I sat down and felt confused. What have I done good lately?

"I just felt like making my girl some lunch, you like?" he just seemed a little too happy today but I felt touched by what he did for me. We ate not saying anything, savouring the moment, looking deeply into each other's eyes.

Standing up he walked over to my side and leaned onto the banister of the terrace overlooking the thing he seemed to love more than me, the ocean.

"What have I done to deserve this?" he asked himself outloud.

Closing my eyes I listened to him talk about how lucky he is, to be blessed with such a life. My eyes opened from the touch of his hand caressing my cheek and him kneeling before me.

"...Most of all what have I done to deserve you," he said gazing into my eyes. Gazing right through me.

My lips parted slightly as I felt his thumb trace over my bottom lip. I felt his hungry lips press onto mine. Kissing me in way he's never kissed me before. This kiss was different, it was pure emotion.

Trailing kisses down the side of my neck I could hear his breath against my ear.

"There's been something i've been meaning to say," he whispered.

"And what's that?" I asked pressing my lips against his ear.

Nick cupped my head in his hands and glared at me for a moment. He seemed very hesitant and scared to say whatever it is he wants to say. Kissing my forehead he opened his mouth,"I...I-...I... eeeee.... uhhh... I love you, Liz."

I felt my insides tingle as he said those words. Tears of joy stinged my eyes. I smiled at him and leaned in for a kiss. "I love you too, Nick."

Suddenly an idea popped into my head.

Standing up, I took his left hand, holding it with my tiny hands, "If you say you love me Carter, then prove it to me." A deviant smirk curved at his lips.

"I'd be glad too,"

I pulled him inside and kissed him passionately as we walked into his bedroom. Everything was just so perfect as he held me in his arms. Our bodies fell onto the bed as we were engaged in a heavy kiss.

Glaring up at his blue eyes, "Love me Nick, show me how much you love me."

Smirking, his hands traveled down to the hem of my t-shirt. His warm hands slowly creeping up my sides as he lifted my shirt off me. Once he got rid of all my clothes he planted sweet kisses all over my body.
