"Happy Wednesday - Backstreet Pictures from Oct 23rd - On Without You, This is Us *Brian version*, Undone *Nick version*- Upcoming giveaway? - Oprah & erotica "
I'm still working on Fantasy/Reality part 53. Last time I checked it was around 1,800 words so it's almost halfway done. I think about the scenes everyday but I haven't had the chance to translate them into words yet. I still want to update it sometime this month! I have a few days to meet my goal. Send positive thoughts and vibes my way.
"
Click here for more Kristi Yamaguchi & Friends pictures from JoAnnaOne of my readers named JoAnna was kind enough to share some of the pictures she took during the Kristi Yamaguchi and Friends ice skating show that happened on October 23rd in Arizona.
A few weeks ago a song titled "On Without You" was leaked. It was apparently recorded for the "This is Us" album. I absolutely love this song and it's such a shame it didn't make the album. The lyrics are so touching and it creates images in my mind. My favorite part is when Nick sings:
I hear you walking through the halls
and I know you're not home
the thought of you is all that remains
I wonder if I call would you pick up the phone
and tell me that you're feeling the sameListen to "On Without You" on youtube by clicking here
I recently discovered there were two different versions of the songs "This is Us" and "Undone." In the leaked version of the song "This is Us" Brian sings the entire first verse and Nick sings "I'm here now" instead of "Let the world know baby." I honestly prefer this version than the album version. I don't like Howie singing in the beginning. Brian should have taken that whole verse to himself.
In the leaked version of "Undone" Nick sings the first verse instead of AJ. I think Nick sounds better because AJ sounds too breathy on the album version.
If the songs "This is Us" and "Undone" stuck to the leaked versions and added "On Without You" and "Helpless" to the tracklist then I would have loved the album so much more.

Backstreet is currently going through a tour in Europe. I wish I had the money to go overseas to see them but my credit card doesn't stretch that far.
The tour currently features different levels of VIP. The different levels are Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Platinum VIP costs roughly $500 and there's a possibility that a Backstreet Boy will take fans on an exclusive tour. For the Liverpool show Nick gave a group of lucky fans a tour. Watching this video is very fascinating. I wonder if he practiced what he was going to say before doing this.

There was one really awkward part during the video that I can't even watch because I'm embarassed for that fan. While Nick was talking she just gets up all next to him and poses for a picture. I think that's so rude to be all up on Nick's grill while he's trying to talk. The timing was so wrong.
Yesterday while I was looking for songs from the Glee TV show on youtube, I came across the Glee version of "Don't Stand So Close To Me/Young Girl" and it totally reminded me of what happened to Nick in the Liverpool Platinum VIP. I bet Nick was thinking "don't stand so close to meeeee." :p

Speaking of Glee... I really cannot get over how good this show is. It's really blown me away. I love everything about it. The acting, singing, and writing is so brilliant. I can only wish someday in the future I can emulate Ryan Murphy and turn these scenes and visions in my head into a work of art like he has.
I was also thinking if I had to pick a guy to play Duke from Fantasy/Reality in a movie or TV show I would pick either Cory Monteith who plays Finn on Glee or Matthew Morrison who plays Mr. Shue on Glee. I think Matthew Morrison would be a better fit because he can sing and dance really good and most of the part of Duke in Fantasy/Reality is dancing for Olivia and Anderson's wedding.
For tonights Glee's episode, Mr. Shue and Rachel will be singing the song "Endless Love" together. When I heard the song last night, it teared up my eyes a little bit. It's so beautiful!

Popstar High Resolution Gallery has pictures of Nick from November 13th. He looks like a babyface. His face looks so smooth to me.
There's also pictures of Kevin with his son Mason in LA from the WENN photo library. Father and son look so adorable together. I'm fascinated that Mason is blonde while Kevin is obviously not.
It's almost Christmas and I've been thinking about having a contest. I love entering contests so I thought it would be fun to have my own for a change.
I'm still planning it out but I want to giveaway a copy (or two... or three... who knows? lol) of a book that has a story I've written. Out of all the stories I've had published so far, the story I wrote entitled "Pink is the Enemy" which is featured in "Yes Sir, Erotic Stories of Female Submission" is my favorite. Writing that story was one of the most beautiful writing experiences I've ever had and sometimes I wish I could write like that all the time. Everything flowed so perfectly.
I'm thinking about giving that book away sometime in December so stay tuned for the official announcement so you'll know when and how to enter.
On Tuesday Oprah talked about erotica and porn on her show. She had Jenna Jameson who is well known for her adult films and editor Violet Blue who is a sex columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle and editor of many erotica themed books. I thought it was neat to have a tiny connection to an Oprah guest. Even though my short story "Every Friday Night" didn't make the cut in the book Violet was editing, I still think it's an honor she loved my story and what I wrote in it.
It was amusing to see Oprah so stunned at the statistic that 1 out of 3 women are in some way viewing erotica and porn. When I look at the big picture, all of you who are reading my stories are viewing erotica and pornography on my site. I may not provide actual pictures or movies of porn but I do it with my words and you as the reader create those erotic images in your head which I think is so much more sexier and powerful than watching something already set up.

April - The whole chasing Nick for a hug was such a last minute goal for me. I feel like I've gotten a lot from him over the years like pictures and autographs but I've never had a hug. I'm amazed that he even bothered to stop walking and turn around. He could have kept on walking and totally ignore him but he didn't. The power of my voice saying his name and my hand touching his back was enough to stop him in his steps muahahaha :p Nick didn't really smell like anything which was nice since he was sweating from doing the dance routine to Straight Through My Heart and from the lighting in the studio. It was so hot being under those harsh studio lights. I can't wait for Backstreet's tour in the US! I'm crossing my fingers for you and hope that you'll be able to come here! I like the Red Riding Hood costume and how cute that you named your wolf Jacob. You really love him :D I'm glad you had a great time. You're lucky you got to go to the beach! I live in Cali and it's been probably over a year since I've been to the beach! My Halloween was all right. All I did was eat a whole bunch of candy ;-)
_britters_ - It really takes a lot of luck (and connections) to be able to meet Nick. Hopefully you'll be able to meet him when they tour the US. Being on stage with Backstreet was so amazing. It was nice not having a barrier or security guards blocking my from them. If I wanted to I could have reached out and touched Nick but I kept my hands to myself :D
I'm impressed that the Bonnie Hunt show allowed fans to be that close to Backstreet! There is something so dead sexy about seeing a hot man like Nick drive. I loved that he came out driving with the top down to his Mercedes convertible (I guess he loves convertibles since you said he had a BMW one before). He could have easily had the top up so that fans couldnt' see him but he let the wind blow through his hair lol I'm so anxious for the US tour dates too. I want them now so I can start planning and budgeting my money. I'm so honored that you think of me when you listen to the song PDA hehe I love that song so much. One of my favorite parts of the song is when Brian sings "watch 'em, watch 'em" in the background of AJ's verse. Thanks for the encouragement on Fantasy/Reality part 53. I'm writing as fast as I can!
Danielle - There's so many rumors circulating Nick & Lauren that I have no idea what to believe. There's been lots of rumors they've broken up but they're clearly together since she's on tour with him. I've heard a few months ago in New York Nick was seen making out with two different girls who were clearly not Lauren. I don't know what's going on in their relationship and it's their lives to live as they please. Different fans in Europe have had different experiences with her. Some people say she's not friendly to fans and some people say she's been talking to fans. I don't think he's engaged to Lauren. I don't think Nick would propose marriage in the middle of a tour. He's so busy with touring I don't think he'd want to add more to his plate.
Mandy - Happy really late Halloween to you. I should probably go ahead and say Happy really early Thanksgiving to you since it's next week already. I'm doing well and I hope you are too! I agree, Nick looks so good in the Bonnie Hunt picture. He's so beautiful.
Missy - Hi Missy! Thanks for visiting my site and I hope you come back!

"Backstreet Boys on the Bonnie Hunt Show - Hardcore :-O- Nick has a sexy back - I am a dork to the extreme = huggling Nick"
I just found out that the Bonnie Hunt website posted a video of Backstreet singing "I Want It That Way." To find the video go to the videos page and scroll through the videos until you find a video titled "Backstreet Boys Performance, Backstreet Boys perform their hit, "I Want It That Way."
If you want to play where's Jocelyn? I'll give you a clue. I made a ghetto square around my face lol Click to enlarge:
I also checked the Bonnie Hunt show's twitter and saw they posted a picture of Backstreet during "I Want It That Way." I cropped the picture and drew an arrow so you can find me :p Click on the picture to enlarge it. Now that I think about it, in a way I got an indirect picture with Howie lol
Don't forget Backstreet Boys on the Bonnie Hunt Show airs October 23rd. Check your local listings for time and channel.
I'm so behind on fan fiction business. There's not a day I think about writing though. I started writing Fantasy/Reality part 53 but it's nowhere near done. I'd like to have it up by November. Let's see if I can do it :-\
I am operating on barely 4 hours of sleep right now. This whole Bonnie Hunt experience was something I had never done for Backstreet before.
When it was announced Backstreet was going to be taping an interview and performance for the Bonnie Hunt Show on October 22nd, 2009 I thought I wouldn't go since I had such a great time at Kimmel. I changed my mind when I found someone named Arianna on livedaily who said she was going and with someone she met on the Backstreet fan club named Jamie. Arianna lives about an hour from me so I figured if she was going that I could hitch a ride with her.
If you've been following all my babbles, you should know by now I attend a ton of Backstreet related events. What made this event different is this is the first time I've ever camped out for something. The earliest I've probably been to an event is probably 6am in the morning.
The two girls and I get to Culver City at 2am in the morning :-O I was thinking man, this is too hardcore for me lol I got to experience what it was like to be homeless. I was lying on a sidewalk shivering and wrapped up in a thin blanket. I wasn't prepared for this. I didn't think we'd get to Culver City so early. I was expecting to arrive at around 3am or 4am.
You think arriving at 2am was too early? There were already 2 girls camping out in line since 3pm (that is not a typo! it really is 3pm) in the afternoon Wednesday!
I'm going to skip the long boring waiting in line part and fast forward a couple of hours. By 2pm Thursday we're all in the Bonnie Hunt studio. Before the taping begins, I find out that while Backstreet sings "I Want It That Way" fans will be let on the stage to see them perform!
The interview is first and they talk about their successes and blah blah blah. I won't talk about the interview yet since it hasn't aired. I don't want to spoil it for you. I will tell you that after the interview Bonnie Hunt's band starts playing music. Backstreet starts dancing and Nick jumps on the couch and starts shaking his booty like whaaaa lmao He shakes it like he's a video vixen in a rap music video. After he jumps off the couch, he takes a seat at the mock bar behind the couch and pretends he's at the bar waiting for a drink.
Also, during the interview Backstreet was squished into this tiny couch. What irked me is how Nick kept his legs spread so wide. It's like geez, close your legs and let AJ and Howie have some leg room too :p
They sing "Straight Through My Heart" two times. One time is just camera shots of Backstreet and the second time includes shots of the audience enjoying the music.
Then comes the time for "I Want it That Way." I get in line to go down to the stage and I was kind of disappointed to be stuck towards the back behind a tall girl :( until a Bonnie Hunt employee kept looking at me so I kept looking at her. Then she motions with her hand for me to come on stage with Backstreet along with other fans! I am directly behind Nick! :-O So I'm just oogling his back and his hands since he has them behind him. I even stared at his neck and all the moles and freckles he has there.
Although I wish I was in front of Nick, I thought it was so neat to actually sit on stage with Backstreet while they performed a song. It was really intimate and I'm surprised that a talk show allowed the audience to get so close to Backstreet.
While waiting for them to sing "I Want it That Way" AJ turns around and thanks the fans behind him for coming. Nick joins in and does some thanking too. I know it's only two words but Nick looked me right in the eye and with a slight smirk on his lips he tells me "Thank you" and my mind just goes blank and I just stare at him and repeat what he just said to me. So I tell him "Thank you" too lol I kind of wish I had engaged with a conversation with him but I really couldn't think of anything to say. Of course, hours later I can think of a million things to ask him.
So they sing "I Want it That Way" and I'm behind Nick mouthing along :)
After they sing, they take a picture with the 2 girls who were camping out since 3pm Wednesday. I thought that was very nice of the Bonnie Hunt Show to do. Then Backstreet Boy starts to walk off stage. For some odd reason I suddenly get hit with this sort of mission. I couldn't leave if I didn't get a hug from Nick.
I used to think it was so awkward and weird when people asked Backstreet for hugs. Yet there I was with my mind set on getting a hug from Nick. Really random but while I was getting off stage this HUGE fly lands on my arm. I went ewww! and shooed it away. Then I get off stage and Nick is walking towards the backstage area. I figure it's now or never. I thought about those long hours suffering outside waiting for them. I call out to Nick and touch his back. He stops and turns around. Like a big dork I ask him Can I have a hug and he opens his arms out and I hug him for 3 seconds and let go. Right after that happened a Bonnie Hunt employee yelled at me and said "Honey you need to get off stage" but whatever cause I got to huggle Nick :p
The Bonnie Hunt Show was very strict on cameras. No cameras were allowed into the studio so I had to leave my camera in the car. I have no pictures to share. Even though I have no pictures I'm glad I got to experience something different. I don't know if I can handle doing the camping out thing. I love Backstreet and all but I don't know if I love them enough to do that again.
After the taping, I wait outside the gate along with other fans to see if Backstreet will drive out. We're waiting about 5 minutes when a Bonnie Hunt employee tells us Backstreet already left. We didn't believe her so we stuck around. She totally lied to use because a few mintues after she told us they already left, AJ drives by in his hot Audi lol
Nick then drives out pimp style in his shiny Mercedes. It's still brand new and has no license plates. He's got the top down and is just cruising as he drives by and waves at us :) There's something so hot about watching him drive. For some reason seeing him drive reminded me of Usher's song "Nice and Slow." The line "I'm in my drop top cruising the streets..."
Next Brian drives by in his cool looking BMW. He's wearing sunglasses and looks ultra hot. Out of AJ and Nick, Brian gave us the most love as he drove past us. He waves and smiles.
We didn't see Howie leave because he's too stealth :p
*
Steph W. - I do feel so lucky to have had a picture with Nick. I know I have a couple of pics with him but I finally have one that I'm completely happy with. The cupcakes were berry delicious hehe
Danielle - It is so great! Getting a picture with him in Hollywood was so unexpected. I'm glad it happened.
April - Awww I want to meet you too! Definitely come to Cali if Backstreet does a concert here next year. Howie said during the Bonnie Hunt taping they plan on touring the US in spring/summer 2010.
_britters_ - My picture with Nick at Kimmel really brings a smile to my face. Seeing his smile is so infectious. I'm glad fate was on my side that day. Hopefully for the This is Us tour they'll hit up more cities and not leave out a lot of places like FL. Meeting Backstreet is so addicting. I can't get enough of it. I wish it wasn't so hard and expensive. Meeting Backstreet is pure luck and/or having money to pay for VIP during concerts. Yay for cupcakes for your birthday :D They are so yummy!
Yeah - You're welcome for the reply. I'm still working on Fantasy/Reality but thank you for waiting and being patient with me while I write it.

"Nick = Best late birthday present ever"
I couldn't go to sleep until I finished writing about my experience at the Jimmy Kimmel Live show!
When it was announced Brian was diagnosed with Swine Flu I wasn't sure I would be able to see Backstreet Boys their scheduled October 9th appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I thought the chances weren't looking good when the Hard Rock Cafe signings in NYC and LA were cancelled. In addition to the signings being cancelled, their performances on the CBS Early Show and Ellen were cancelled.
There was a glimmer of hope when their performance on the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien was still on. I had a feeling that if Backstreet cancelled performing on Conan that would mean Kimmel's show would share the same fate.
As most of us know by now they went ahead and performed on Conan. I was still feeling skeptical about them being on Kimmel's show. My paranoid mind kept thinking what if they thought they sucked on Conan and decided to cancel Kimmel to let Brian rest some more?
I decided to take the risk and drive down to LA. I thought if the Kimmel apperance ended up cancelled then at least I tried to go. I booked at hotel at the very last minute. I'm glad that I could find a decent hotel for a good price. I left my house at 9:45am on October 9th. I originally wanted to leave at around 8:30am but it took me a while to get out of bed.
I get to LA at almost 4:00pm and I was already feeling like I was late to the show. I threw on my clothes, slapped on some makeup, and then drove my booty down the street to the back of the El Capitan Theatre. There was already a long line of people waiting to get in. I met up with another fan from livedaily and her friend.
While we're waiting, AJ suddenly drives through the parking lot in really nice shiny Audi sedan. Fans immediately spotted AJ who had no clue where to park his car. Security then tells him he has to go around and park in another lot. He then threw his cigarette butt out the window and drove off. I guess he's one of those annoying people who smoke and drive at the same time.
Soon after, Howie arrives with his wife, Leigh, and baby, James. Next was Brian. A group of fans yell out his name and wave at him to come over to sign autographs and pictures. Brian jokingly imitates the fans by waving at them to come over to him. Last but not least Nick arrives.
A few minutes later Howie comes back out, fans yell his name and he decides to come over ane meet and greet with the fans. When he gets to me, I ask him if I could take a picture. He says 'yes' and then I blurt out 'I drove six hours to see you.' He then asks me when I'm from. I told him I'm from the Bay Area. Then asked again where? I then told him San Jose (because it's the nearest major city to my house). Howie and I pose for the picture and I think I finally have a solo picture with Howie... so I thought. Five minutes after I take the picture with Howie I decide to review it in my camera and there's no picture of me and Howie! I was like no! I tried to get Howie's attention again but it's too late :( He's too far from me and there's too many fans in the way. On the bright side at least he attempted a small conversation with me.
When AJ sees Howie greeting fans he joins in. It was so crowded by this point. I was getting squished and pushed. I then get AJ's attention and ask if I could take a picture with him. He says sure but I didn't have someone to take a picture for me. I was like can someone, anyone take a picture? AJ was like I can do it but the fan from livedaily volunteered and took the picture on her camera.
By this point I'm really happy that I got to see AJ and Howie. I didn't think Nick would come over to greet the fans but to my surprise he did. I think when he saw AJ and Howie meeting fans he wanted a piece of the action too. When he got to me I handed him a page from the infamous shirltess photoshoot to sign. Then he moved on to keep on signing autogarphs and I was thinking ahhh, I don't think I'll get a pic with him. My hopes were dwindling as he kept getting farther away and I watched as other fans were getting pictures with him :-[
When he was finished signing and taking pictures with other fans he starts to walk back towards the studio. I couldn't let him get away. It was now or never to me. I reached out and grabbed his shoulder. I asked him can I get a picture please? He stopped and then posed with me. This brings me to my berry delicious picture of me and Nick in Hollywood on October 9th. After taking the picture, I thanked him and patted him on the back. Ever since that moment I've been on a cloud. That brief moment really made all that driving so worth it!
The moment I saw my picture with him the first word that popped into my head was GORGEOUS. He looks freaking GORGEOUS. I love his smile :)
At 7:15pm, security starts letting in the audience. There's some more waiting and finally Backstreet comes on stage. First they sang "Straight Through My Heart". The second song they sang was "Bigger". The next two songs were performed exclusively for the audience. They sang" I Want it That Way" and concluded with "Everybody". Nick was telling everyone to get into the Backstreet Zone lmao
When the show was done, AJ, Howie, and Brian left immediately. Nick took his sweet time and was the last to leave. When he finally emerged from the studio there were some fans who called his name. They wanted him to come over to sign autographs and take pictures. He waved to the fans and left. Then the fans awww'd and started to boo him. I didn't mind since I already got a picture :p
After my Backstreet missions were complete I knew I had to visit Sprinkles in Beverly Hills. For those who don't know, Sprinkles' first bakery opened in Beverly Hills. Once it became a hit with people it expanded to other cities. After driving up and down Santa Monica Blvd. I find Sprinkles. Before going to Sprinkles, I decided to walk around first and walk on Rodeo Drive. Then I headed Starbucks to use their free wi-fi on my iPod touch. From there I signed onto Twitter to see if Sprinkles released the secret word for a free cupcake. Once I found out the word I walked to Sprinkles. There was already a line out on the sidewalk. I was able to get a free red velvet cupcake with a heart decoration. I thought how fitting to get a cupcake with a heart since Backstreet has so many songs with the word heart in it :)
Once my Sprinkles cupcake mission was complete it was time to go back home. I'm still in a state of euphoria from my trip to LA. My expectations were very much exceeded. I thought I would only see Backstreet perform. I didn't think I'd have a hella hot picture with Nick.
I wish I could have stayed in LA longer but staying in a hotel really sucks a credit card dry. I am just so thankful that I had the opportunity to go. It really made me look at what I have and be greatful for everything :)
Here's a picture of the cupcakes I ordered for my birthday on October 5th. They came out exactly how I designed it on the site! Next to the cupcakes are flowers I won from 1-800 flowers on Twitter. It was a total coincidence that the flowers sent to me were a cupcake arrangement. You can't see it in the picture but the vase is in the shape of a cupcake wrapper.
On October 6th, Backstreet Boys' "This is Us" album was released. I headed over to Target to buy the deluxe version. My favorites are PDA, Shattered, Undone, and This is Us. PDA is so sexxxy to me. I love how Nick says booty. If I had to compare this album to "Unbreakable", I think Unbreakable was better. I do like the album "This is Us" but I love the songs on "Unbreakable" more.
*
Steph W. - Thank you for the birthday greeting! I'm glad you love the new layout. I love his smile in the picture. I haven't had a chance to read Nick's thank you's yet but I heard he did a wonderful job writing it. I am still so happy I got a hot picture with Nick. I can't stop smiling.
April - Thanks for the birthday greeting. I did have a great day! I had a cupcake hangover :p I did have a great time at Kimmel. It was one of the best Backstreet events I went to. I'll have to remember to eat before watching those show so I don't choke lol The frustrating part of writing is starting and finishing a story. I don't know which is more painful, starting a story or finishing it. They both hurt but I love that kind of pain.
Dawn - Brian getting Swine flu really showed he's human and vulnerable to contracting a sickness. I am surprised by his speedy recovery. Thanks for the belated birthday greeting :) I had a really nice day with my cupcakes hehe I've been voting for Aaron too and I was getting scared since he was almost in danger of going home in the last elimination. I really hope he can go far in the competition so he can do the DWTS tour. I like the "This is Us" album but I love Unbreakable more. Songs that I love on "This is Us" are PDA, Shattered, and Undone. I think PDA is a sexy song and I love the way Nick says booty.
_britters_- Twitter is so addictive. I do my best to not over-tweet so I can have something to write about here on my site. Plus most of the time I can't write what I'm doing in only 140 characters. I do love how instant and easy Twitter is. I hope you were able to get the CD. My favorite songs off the album are PDA, Shattered, and Undone. I don't know where in Florida you live but it's been rumored that there will be a Sprinkles coming to Miami. I did have a very happy birthday :D The cupcakes I ordered came out exactly how I wanted.
Mary - Thanks for letting me know about the Hard Rock signing. It was for the best that it was cancelled because I wouldn't want Brian to work when he's sick. I did get to see them on Kimmel. That was such a wonderful experience :D
Danielle - The LA CD signing was cancelled and I think it was a good decision because I wouldn't want Brian to meet with fans if he was still recovering from Swine Flu. Hopefully you'll get another chance to meet them! I really can't stop smiling over getting a hot picture with Nick.

"Happy Birthday to me! - I'm going to LA to see Backstreet! - 'This is Us' Out on October 6th! "
Whoa! It's been over a month since I've babbled here. I hope I didn't lose any of you :-\ I think part of the reason I find it hard to blog here is because of Twitter. Once I have a thought I can just instantly put it up on Twitter without having to go through the steps of updating here. Darn that Twitter.
This is an exciting week because a lot of things are happening! First off it's my birthday. 24 years ago I officially entered the world on October 5th. I am hoping my birthday this year is better than last year. I already went to Sprinkles' website and ordered a dozen cupcakes for me and my family (mostly for me :p). I did a special order where I got to design what I wanted.
This is the design I came up with. You have to click on it to see it all. For those of you who don't know, Joy is my nickname. No one in my family calls me Jocelyn. I also use Joy as my Starbucks name since not very many people can spell Jocelyn properly. When I pick up the cupcakes tomorrow morning, I'll take a bunch of pictures and post it online.
Following my birthday is October 6th which is the release of Backstreet's latest album "This is Us." I've been a good girl and haven't listened to anymore leaks. I don't even know what the final versions of the songs sound like. I personally enjoy listening to music fresh off an album rather than indulging on leaks. It's hard waiting though. I keep hearing people say they love the song "This is Us" and I am soooooo curious to hear it.
Here's a list of US TV appearances Backstreet will be making to promote "This is Us". Check your local listings for the exact time.
October 6th - Early Show
October 8th - Ellen
October 8th - The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien
October 9th - Jimmy KimmelI'm going to be extending my birthday celebration by driving down to Southern California to see Backstreet on Jimmy Kimmel's outdoor mini-concert series and for their "This is Us" album signing at the Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood in Universal on October 8th. Ah, what should I say to Backstreet? lol What should I say to Nick? :p
If you're planning to go to either of these events don't be shy to look for me. I'll be the short chubby asian chick with glasses.
On livedaily I was reading about all these people either attending Backstreet's signing in New York City or Hollywood and it got me thinking about how Backstreet really drives people to go places. There really isn't any other group I would endure a long road trip for. Backstreet Boys is the only group I feel it's worth while to drive a gazillion hours to see for just a few minutes.
In the fan fiction department:
I'm about 1/3 done with the next part of Fantasy/Reality. I'm still trying to mentally prepare how I'm going to handle the dialogue between Nick, his 3 sisters, and Viola.
I also started a new short story called "The Call" which is halfway done. The plot of "The Call" just couldn't get out of my head and I had to start writing it while it was flowing.
September was a good month for me in the winning department. My favorite win was an iPod Touch I won from entering a contest on Facebook/Twitter. The timing was perfect because I was considering asking my parents to buy me one for my birthday.
After being quiet on the Twitter front, Nick posted these pictures:
Nick getting makeup:

Nick & Howie:
http://mypict.me/show.php?id=QzOw
@treenakristine on Twitter got this picture of Kevin, Nick, Brian, and Howie in Japan:
According to a tweet Howie made, he said that the song "Bigger" is the next single off "This is Us." They shot the music video in Tokyo, Japan. Here's the tweet & picture he posted:
"We are taping the video for our next single "Bigger" here in Tokyo. This is where I did my solo shot. Congrats Rio!! http://pic.gd/e162b2 "
Here's a video of Backstreet performing "Straight Through My Heart" in Japan:
I'm glad Nick's hair is finally growing out :)
Who's been watching Aaron on Dancing with the Stars? He's been doing a really great job. It was so cute during the premiere episode when the show cut to a shot of Nick looking really proud of Aaron. The judges also seem to like Aaron's dancing too and I hope he goes far in the competition. I've been voting so make sure you vote too!
I have to say again that I am in love with the show Glee on Fox. It's so wonderfully written. I can't stop listening to the songs that have been featured on the show. My current song obsession from the show is "Alone" sung by Kristin Chenoweth and Matthew Morrison.
I'm also following some of the actors from Glee on Twitter and Amber Riley who plays Mercedes posted this on Twitter:
"Omg! Backstreet's back ALRIGHT! Album out Oct 6th, I am too excited!!!!!!"
Whew hoo for "This is Us"! I can't wait! :-D

April - I'll have to see if hulu.com has episodes of the Big Bang Theory & How I Met Your Mother. Winning is so addictive. Once you win something, you keep wanting to win more. I'm amazed at everything I've won. I never thought I would win an iPod touch or a portable DVD player. I would love to someday win a trip somewhere. Thanks for your input on the question I asked about unfinished stories. I have so many of them. I feel so bad because I know they deserve an ending.
_britters_ - Thanks for letting me know your opinion on unfinished stories. I am determined to finish Fantasy/Reality. It's one of my goals. That story really has a special place in my heart. Nick was really cute in that video :)
Jenna - I am flattered that The Episodes is your favorite story. Thanks for taking the time to read it over again. I still can't believe it's been 10 years since I've written it.
Yeah - I think what I'll do is focus more on writing Fantasy/Reality but I'll also invest a little time on writing the unfinished stories. Just keep checking my site for updates :)

"Another oldie but goodie: 'Moonlight Sonata' - Important question - Backstreet on Metromix & Daily 10 - Nick & Aaron Pictures from 9/1/09 - September ain't so bad because I won meat - Glee"
Reading over 'Moonlight Sonata' was very nostalgic. I couldn't help laughing at my own silliness. There was one instance where I had written : (hehe vocab word) I had to take that out. That was the 14 year old in me. I had forgotten how long this story was. It had taken me about 2 hours to read over it and get rid of some grammatical errors.
A question just struck me. On Wednesday I remembered a story I had started a while ago. I don't think I'll continue writing it but it's got me thinking. Would you be willing to read a story I'll never finish or would you rather not read a story I'll never finish so that you'll not end up with a cliffhanger that'll drive you crazy for the rest of your life? Let me know your thoughts in the shout box!
Metromix posted this wonderful video of Backstreet at rehearsals for their upcoming tour. I think this interview was edited well and gives a great insight on what goes on in their rehearsals.
There's one part at 1:00 in the video where Brian kicks Nick between the legs and Nick acts like nothing happened. That seriously made me lol If you like Nick in a wifebeater you'll like this video ;)
Backstreet also appeared on E! Channel's Daily 10. E! seems to be giving them a lot of airtime. It was cute when Nick and Brian were trying to teach the interviewer some dance moves.
Backstreet Boys on E! Channel's Daily 10
On September 1st, Nick and Aaron were photographed in Hollywood, CA. Apparently they were at the Apple Store and Nick bought something. I wish we could find out exactly what he got.
This is the caption for the pictures:
01.09.09. Aaron Carter and Nick Carter shopping at the Apple Store in Hollywood. The brothers were in high spirits as they left the store but managed to get themselves slightly lost on their way out of the shopping mall.
Nick and Aaron in Hollywood on September 1st
It's very endearing to see those two lost. I can just imagine them arguing and saying Dude the car is over there!!! No! It's over there!!! hehe
My September has been going good so far.
On September 1st, I checked my e-mail and saw I won 2 movie tickets from a G.I. Joe related sweepstakes.
Then on the morning of September 2nd I woke up at around 8:25am. I was a little irritated that my body woke up because I had gone to sleep at 4am so I only about 3 and half hours of sleep. I was going to go back to sleep but first I wanted to go online and check if I earned points at iPodSweepstakes.
After I checked my points status I was about to turn off my laptop and resume sleeping when I remembered there was this hourly contest. I figured since I was partially awake that I would play the hourly contest and then go back to sleep.
I sign onto the website and waited to see if I had lost or won. One minute passes by and the site is loading slower than usual. In the past when I played I would get the results immediately. I thought the site was broken and I almost gave up. I closed my eyes for a minute and almost fell asleep again but forced myself to open one eye to check if the website had finished loading.
When I looked at the screen, the site had loaded and it told me I was a winner! I immediately woke up and was shocked to see that. I have been playing this contest since August 17th so it was a great surprise to finally see a winning screen. I filled out my address and after I submitted my information it told me that I had won a $150.00 visa gift card! This really means so much to me because I'm still unemployed and now I have more money to add into my Backstreet fund. I am so glad my body decided to wake up randomly. It's like my body knew the winning time would be coming so it woke me up.
If you're interested in playing the game you can go to this website and sign up . You can play the game one time every hour. The prizes are either a $150.00 Visa gift card or a $10.00 Starbucks gift card. If you click on the winners list link on the bottom you can see my name as one of the winners for September 2nd.
Then when I checked my e-mail on September 3rd I saw that I got a message telling me that I won Day 94 on the Marlboro 100 days of flavor sweepstakes. The prize that I won was 8 Omaha Rib Eye Steaks, 16 gourmet burgers, and a grilling guide. The average retail value of the prize is $203.17! I keep joking with my parents and saying "Yay, I won meat." :-P I can't wait for the prize to arrive. BBQ at my house coming soon! The neat thing about this sweepstakes is everyday there's a new prize. The more expensive the prize the less winners there are. One of their previous prizes was an ashtray for 100,000 winners and I didn't even win that but that's okay because I don't smoke. The steaks, burgers, and book that I won were only for 500 winners.
I also received good news in my e-mail on Wednedsay night. In 2006, I was a victim of a ponzi/pyramid scheme by the 12 daily pro company. It was similar to the Bernie Madoff scam where a person would put in a certain amount of money and gain quick profit. I was foolish enough to think that it was a legit company. I ended up putting in over $700.00 of my money into it. When it was exposed that the company was fraudulent and that the owner was pocketing the money into her personal bank account, I thought I wouldn't see a single dime of my money back. However, the e-mail I got Wednesday night told me that I would be receiving about 30% of my money back (which is $214.01) from the funds that were recovered. I'm thankful for the 30% and think that's way better than nothing at all. That's why I think if you invest your money please make sure the company is 100% legit.
I was channel surfing Wednesday night when I stumbled upon "Glee" on Fox. I thought the episode was well written even though most of the characters are cliche. I hope it lasts. The song they were practicing at the end has got me listening to Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" song. Plus I am a sucker for the unrequited love story line. The guidance counselor is secretly in love with the Glee club director but the problem is he's married and expecting a baby with his wife. The show is also produced by Ryan Murphy who created Nip/Tuck and that is one of my favorite shows.

April - I wikipedia'd The Big Bang Theory recently and read the plot summary. The premise of the show seems very interesting. Funny you mention How I Met Your Mother because a few weeks ago I won the season 4 DVD set from 7-11. I partially watched about one or two episodes before and I've heard good reviews on it. I hope Nick gets a chance to see Aaron on DWTS. I'm secretly hoping Backstreet will get a chance to perform on DWTS and see the professional dancers create a dance routine for Straight Through My Heart. I am actually glad Chelsea didn't ask Nick about Paris. That was so refreshing. Thank you for liking my layout and my old story :)
Jenna - Yay, Jenna's back all right! I sent you an e-mail about where The Episodes are so hopefully you received it. I am so flattered that it is your favorite story. It really lifts up my spirits to know you've been reading my work for years and I hope you continue to keep on coming for many more years. I'm happy you're happy and reading your post in my shoutbox really makes me smile big :-D I should say thank you for your reading!
Dawn - I wanted to change the layout when I updated Fantasy/Reality but I felt I had kept you all waiting for too long so I went ahead and updated without the layout change. I had some time to kill last week so I used it to change the look. I was getting tired of seeing that layout and plus it would give people a chance to look at something different and show that I have been updating. I love the picture of Nick too and I miss his blondness. I hope DWTS helps Aaron's career and that it'll inspire him to record a new album. Nick makes a great vampire. He can bite me anytime. I'm still on the first book in the Twilight series. I haven't found the motivation to keep on reading it. I did watch the movie a few weeks ago. I'm actually more interested in what Jacob is all about. I've seen the preview for the Vampire Diaries on CW and I'm interested in watching it. I think the main actor guy is very hot. I remember he was on Smallville and 8 Simple Rules before. If I had known the songs that leaked earlier this year were going to be on the album I would have not listened. I am though not listening to anymore leaks. I think most of the album has leaked but I'm choosing to save myself until October 6th to hear them and be surprised too :)

"Oldie but goodie - 'This is Us' info - 'Straight Through My Heart' Music Video - Nick Carter Holler!'"
I got an e-mail a few weeks ago from a long time reader named Edrah. (Sidenote: I love getting e-mails!) She was asking about 3 of my old stories I used to have on my site. She specifically named my story "Indecent Proposal."
She also asked for a story where Nick likes a girl who plays the piano (titled "Moonlight Sonata") and another story where a girl has a threesome with Nick and Brian (titled "Fantasies Fulfilled"). I haven't had a chance to look over the last two stories so I'll add them later.
I wrote all of these stories when I was in high school and they're part of the early days of Berry *Delicious* Nick Carter Stories. I wrote "Moonlight Sonata" because I love that composition by Beethoven. It has such a beautiful and haunting melody. I wrote "Fantasies Fulfilled" because it was a readers request. I don't even know why I wrote "Indecent Proposal." It was just one of those stories that came out.
Since I'm on the topic of fan fiction... don't forget to read Fantasy/Reality part 52! I'm a bit paranoid that since I didn't update the story in so many months that I've lost so many readers :-\
Here is the album cover of the "This is Us" album coming out October 6th. (One day after my 24th birthday!!!) Nick looks really delicious in the picture. It tickles me though to see how much he towers over Aj, Howie, and Brian.
![]()
Click on the image to enlarge itAccording to the Amazon website the following is the track list for the upcoming Backstreet Boys album titled "This is Us":
1. Straight Through My Heart
2. Bigger
3. Bye Bye Love
4. All Of Your Life (You Need Love)
5. If I Knew Then
6. This Is Us
7. PDA
8. Masquerade
9. She's A Dream
10. Shattered
11. Undone
The Japanese edition of "This is Us" will have the following songs as bonus tracks:12. International Luv
13. Straight Through My Heart (Jason Nevins Mixshow Remix)I don't know why "International" had the word "Luv" added to the title. It just makes the song extra cheesy.
The track listing doesn't really impress me. I'm disappointed "Helpless" featuring Pitbull didn't make the final cut. On the bright side, since "Helpless" isn't on the album that means I can listen to it as much as I want without having to wait until October 6th. I also wish the album had more than 11 songs. Unbreakable had 14 offcial songs with 2 extra bonus songs on it!!! Why couldn't this album have 14 too?
The music video for the "Straight Through My Heart" music is available for viewing. You can watch it on youtube here.
There's just something off about the video to me. The movement of the scenes are way too fast for the tempo of the song. I think there's too much dancing and it looks like the people dancing in the audience don't give a crap Backstreet Boys are up performing on the stage. I'm not surprised though that Nick had the faux lesbians dancing in front of him. Poor vampire, Nick disrupted her dinner lol
Nick did a phone interview to the Q107.5 radio station in Memphis, TN. The station titled the interview Nick Carter hollers at us! I haven't listened to it yet so I have no idea what he says or talks about.
On August 25th, Backstreet did an interview with Chelsea Handler on her late night talk show Chelsea lately. I frequently watch Chelsea's show so I was happy she had Backstreet as guests. Once again Nick proves he can wear just about anything and look hot. On the show, he wore a poofy vest and he looked like he was ready for winter time. I'm normally not a fan of vests. I don't wear vests but I thought Nick pulled it off well. It added shape and roundness to his thinner figure.

April - That sucks you didn't get the job. Getting a job is so tough these days. I still haven't had luck. On the bright side at least you got to interview with the company and they gave you an answer. I've sent my resume to countless companies and it is so rare to get even a "sorry we're not interested" response. Running a site takes up so much time so I see part of the reason Chellie wouldn't want to continue updating. It can take so many hours to format and upload everything. This update I'm doing right now has taken me nearly two hours. Updates where I have to add Fantasy/Reality takes so much longer. Watching those shows on Disney Channel really make me laugh and bring a smile to my face. I've tried to like the sitcoms on the primetime channels but most of them are about who slept with who, who cheated on who, who wants to bang who. They're just so riddled with sex. I know my main focus in writing is sex but sometimes the sitcoms on television overdo it. I enjoy the light hearted shows on Disney because they're about young people who get into situations and they go through creative ways to solve their issues. Thank you for the compliment on my latest chapter update. It felt great to finally get that on my site for you all to read. I can't wait to see Aaron on DWTS. I hope he does well and goes far in the competition.
Dawn - I personally liked Aaron since his song "Saturday Night" came out. I'm not really into early Aaron's work. I think the only songs I like by him are "Saturday Night" and "Summertime." I actually wanted to mention in my last update that you all probably need to re-read part 51 to refresh your memory since it had been so long since I updated.
Yeah - Thank you for thinking it was an awesome chapter and that it was worth the wait :-) I hope part 53 doesn't take months to come out!

"Fantasy/Reality part 52 - iPodSweepstakes - Swagbucks - Vote for me as Bsb's #1 fan on Tweeterwall - Aaron on Dancing with the Stars! "
Your eyes aren't deceiving you. I am really updating Fantasy/Reality. I started writing part 52 in late May and didn't feel content with it until August 17th. My advice to you is read it slowly. I don't know if I'm going to go through another painful period of writers block like I did with part 52. According to the word count in Microsoft word, part 52 is 6,516 words which I think is the longest part of the story so far. I hope you enjoy it and please let me know what you think.
In late July I found a website called iPodSweepstakes and it's a website where if you do offers you can earn points towards either an iPod, iPhone, iPod Touch, or an iTunes gift card. I actually won a their drawing and my prize was an iPod shuffle. So far I have 1,410 points which is enough to redeem for either an iPod Shuffle or a $75 iTunes giftcard. I think it's a good site to do if you're bored. If you need any tips or advice on how to do the website feel free to e-mail me and I can do my best to explain.
You can join iPodSweepstakes by clicking here.
Here is a picture of the iPod Shuffle I won through iPodSweepstakes:
I recommend if you sign up create a separate e-mail address just for this site because you will get a ton of spam e-mails. When you sign up use your real name and address but when you complete the offers such as the surveys I suggest you use a fake address and phone number because you will get spammed. Some people who have done this have used addresses and phone numbers of their local Wal Mart or Burger King.
I also joined a search engine called Swagbucks. It's like Google but you have the opportunity to earn Swagbucks for some of the searches you do. In two weeks I've earned more than 45 Swagbucks and I have already redeemed for a $5.00 Amazon gift card which I received already. It's really easy to sign up for so just click here or the banner below:
Isla on livedaily submitted me for the Bsb #1 fan on Tweeterwall for Twitter. As of right now I'm on page 3 so I appreciate any vote that can push me onto the first page and into the top 20.
If you haven't already added me to your Twitter, my Twitter URL is http://www.twitter.com/berrydelicious/
Backstreet Boys will be appearing on Chelsea Lately on the E! channel August 25th. Check your local listings for the exact time. I actually love Chelsea's talk show so I am very interested in watching this interview.
Straight Through My Heart is available on iTunes so if you have a spare $1.29 go buy it!
On August 15th, Backstreet performed at Beatstock on the east coast. It's the first time they've done Straight Through My Heart in front of an audience. Here's some footage of them singing and dancing to Straight Through My Heart:
Backstreet posted this picture of Nick and AJ on Twitter. I think it's so hilarious because it looks like they're both checking out girls:
Rrar, Nick looks great in a v-neck shirt ;)
Here's a picture of Nick posted on Twitter from the set of Straight Through My Heart in front of a piano. *sigh* Look at those long fingers of his.
I got an e-mail from one of my readers named Edrah and she was asking me about some of the old stories I used to have up years ago. These are stories I have long forgotten about like "Indecent Proposal." When I have a spare minute in the near future I will slowly but surely add some of my oldies back. It's been years since I've even seen the story "Indecent Proposal."
It's been announced that Aaron will be appearing on the next season Dancing with the Stars. That show is such a guilty pleasure of mine so I cannot wait to watch him on it. I hope he goes far in the competition and I can't wait to hear Bruno's commentary on his dancing. Bruno's comments are so hilarious! I'm even thinking if he does really well that I'd like to at least attend one taping so we'll see how that goes. If anyone wants to go with me let's try to work it out :)
*
April - Good luck on getting the 2nd part time job at a used bookstore. I hope that went well for you. I wonder if that store carries any of the books I've been in. Blogspot is completely free and easy to use. I got the idea to use it as a place to post stories from an editor/writer I know named Alison Tyler. She posts stories on her Blogspot almost everyday. I've met so many wonderful people through my website! I'm amazed that something I do in my bedroom in California can reach people all over the world. Thank you for the luck on winning. I'm so addicted to entering contests. Most of the stuff I've won are small prizes so I'm waiting for the day when I'll win a grand prize. I think the reason I love the Disney shows like Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Sonny with a Chance is that they're easy to follow and not overly cheesy. I guess I'm not ready for any of the adult oriented prime time drama's.
Meghan - If I had a recording device I'd record the Disney shows too. It is a great escape from the reality of the grown up world. Watching these shows make me smile and laugh. I'm actually excited for the Wizards of Waverly Place movie.
Yeah - I hope the right opportunity comes soon! I keep reminding myself I'd rather be at a job I really love than settle for a job I'm not interested in. Nick's brown hair has grown on me. I'm used to it now. Awww I'm happy that you're happy about 10 of Berry *Delicious* Nick Carter Stories. I hope to have 10 more!
Dawn - Was the marathon of Jonas the Jonas cubed the Disney channel kept promoting? I caught some of that. I also saw the crossover of HM, Wizards of Waverly Place, & Suite Life. Uh, oh you're going over to the Aaron side. I'm happy he's going to be on Dancing with the Stars and I can't wait to see how he does. Dancing with the Stars is such a guilty pleasure of mine. I love the judge Bruno. His comments are hilarious.
Guest - Thanks for the congrats on the berry delicious anniversary! :-D
For those of you who left a comment on Fantasy/Reality part 51 and for Jenny who left a comment on Big Beautiful Woman, I replied to you all so check out my replies on the blog. I'm comment #8 for part 51 and comment #2 for Big Beautiful Woman.

"A Painful Period of Writer's Block - 10 years of Berry *Delicious* Nick Carter Stories - Pictures of Nick/Angel/Aaron @ The Grove - Straight Through My Heart - Won Channing Tatum's Autograh on Twitter - Sonny With a Chance"
It's been a while since I've updated. I know you're all anxious for an update. The last few weeks of July I tried to write as much as I could for Fantasy/Reality part 52 so that I could update on Berry *Delicious* Nick Carter Stories' 10 year anniversary which was on August 2nd. I painfully stared at a blinking cursor for most of those days. It kills me because I am about 98% done with part 52. It won't come out and it's driving me crazy! I have over 5,000 words for this part so it's longer than usual.
I still can't believe that after 10 years of running a fan fiction site that I am still around. It was August 2nd, 1999 that I first uploaded my site Berry *Delicious* Nick Carter Stories. I was just a 13 year girl who wanted to have a Backstreet Boys related website. I never imagined I'd be where I am right now. Having this website has really helped me meet such wonderful people :-) I love you all and I hope there's another 10 years of this site!
Nick hung out with Aaron and Angel over the weekend at The Grove in LA. It weirds me out a little bit to see Nick almost as skinny as Aaron.
Backstreet Boys' 1st single is called "Straight Through My Heart." It's a cute song. I'm so excited for the album called "This is Us." It is scheduled to come out October 6th which is perfect because my birthday is October 5th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like they knew to let it out near my birthday.
For those following me on Twitter you may have noticed that at the end of most of my tweets I've added the tag #gijoemoviefan. The reason I did that was because the website owner of Channing Tatum Unwrapped was running a contest. Whoever posted #gijoemoviefan at the end of their tweets would be placed in a random drawing August 1st through 7th. On August 3rd I saw my username as one of the winners! The ironic thing is about an hour before I found out I won, I was thinking "man I should have added #gijoemovie fan to more tweets of mine" since there were some tweets I left it out. I'm happy I won though and I can't wait to get Channing in the mail.
I am so obsessed with winning. Some of the great things I won in July are a portable DVD with an ARV of $175.00, a 1gb iPod Shuffle, a season DVD of Entourage, and 1 night stay at La Quinta Inn.
Nick made an appearance in my dreams last week. I was in a parking lot and it was like I was helping Nick out with his horror themed film. There was a station wagon in the parking lot and I get into the drivers seat while Nick and some other girls put their luggage into the trunk and get into the car. I didn't shut the driver's side door yet and for some reason I think to be like a zombie.
I fall out of the car and onto the pavement. I act like I fainted so Nick gets out of the car and runs over to check on me. Once he's there, I grab the collar to his shirt and look him in the eye and tell him "You're going to have sex with every woman you see." It's like I have powers because once I said that it's like he falls under my command. He stands up and then he walks away. After he walks away, Sophia Bush comes to check on me because she saw Nick walk away. I look Sophia in the eye and it looks like she's under my command too. I tell her let's go follow Nick. I was hoping that if Nick sees us he'll have sex with both of us since I told him to have sex with every woman he sees. The dream went on but we never found Nick so that meant no sex *pout*
I think I'm a teenager a heart. I recently got into the Disney Channel show "Sonny With a Chance" which stars Demi Lovato. The first episode I watched had Demi and her co-star doing a sketch where they were check out girls. I thought that was so funny because with every customer they got they would go "check out his vest" in a valley girl voice. I just adore this show so much and I LOVE the love/hate relationship Sonny has with Chad Dylan Cooper lol I spent one of my weekends just watching all the episodes that have come out so far on youtube. It felt really good to laugh. I've also been watching Disney Channel a lot lately. I like "Wizards of Waverly Place" and "Hannah Montana." I have a little crush on Cody Linley.

April - I am definitely not giving up trying to find a job. After my rejection from TiVo I went on a resume mailing spree and I only heard from Nickelodeon saying they had already filled the position. I'm just keeping in mind what I heard in an interview from John Paul who is one of the founders of Paul Mitchell products. He said he had to go through hundred's of no's before he got a yes. Has Chellie considered moving her stories to Blogspot? That's where I keep Fantasy/Reality because it's a really simple site. I cannot wait to receive my copy of Sophie Kinsella's book Twenties Girl. Her writing makes me laugh. I had so much fun in San Francisco with my friend Dana. It's actually because of my fan fiction that we met. She e-mailed me years ago and our friendship just started from there. It was one of the most stress free times I've had in a while. It was nice getting to hang out with someone close to my age.
Mel - If I can find a spare minute I'll check out 00Carter. It's been a while since I've actually seriously read a fan fiction.
Yeah - It would have been great to get the job at TiVo but it wasn't in my destiny. I am just hoping it means there's something better for me in the future. What I'm up to is trying to write! I am trying to write lol
Dawn - I have a folder on my computer with all my resumes and cover letters. I apply for a wide arrange of jobs so I have to change up my letters so it doesn't sound generic. I am trying to keep from listening to anymore leaks from the Backstreet Boys album. Last year I did it successfully and it was a nice experience hearing the songs for the first time straight from the CD. I've only listened to the first batch of leaks but the other leaks I've avoided. I like Straight Through My Heart too. It's a different style and tempo that we're used to but I'm glad they're trying out new sounds.
