"I love my name - Fresh Picture of Me"

I just wanted to share the table of contents for the book I'm going to be in called "Yes, Sir." It comes out in March 2008 so you all better get it. Most of the other authors in this book are really respected erotica writers so it's really nice to be in such good company.

How Bad Do You Want It? by Gwen Masters

I am a total make up virgin so I asked the make up person at "The View From The Bay" to help me out. She did a little something to my face so I had to document it.

Jocelyn from 10 minutes ago

I actually like how I look in this picture. I don't get why I can't look like that all the time.

*

Lexi - Yes, Sara is very pretty! I was into Grey's Anatomy when it first came out. I sort of lost interest in the 3rd season but I still tune in when it's on. I'm just not heavily into the storylines.

Dawn - The first verse of AOW reminds me of Fantasy/Reality with Nick singing the whole line about "there you go, caught you crashing my dreams again" lol The dancing is so cheesy to me but I love it. I love cheese.

Steph W. - Awww that's cute your mom went with you. My mom wouldn't go with me to anything Backstreet related. My father would which is hiliarious. My dad and I are ridiculously close. He's been to a few Backstreet events with me lmao!

"I forgot to mention I met Dr. Torres from Grey's Anatomy last Friday - Any Other Way video From NY"

On Friday, Sara Ramirez aka Dr. Torres from Grey's Anatomy came on "The View From The Bay" to promote her reading of "Peter and the Wolf" here in the Bay Area. She's really gorgeous in person.

Jocelyn & Dr. Torres from Grey's Anatomy

She makes me look super short. I didn't expect her to be so tall! My neck strained looking up at her lol

*

Someone posted this video of Backstreet's performance of "Any Other Way" in NY. The dancing makes me giggle. It's cute that they're dancing. It's not perfect but it's not that bad. I just think the dancing doesn't match the song. It looks like they're not comfortable with the moves and not flowing.

It also makes me giggle that Nick is so much taller than the other 3 Bsb'ers. He stands out like a sore thumb. The other three need platforms or something :-P

Any Other Way Here

What do you think? It also makes me itch to see them in concert so bad. It's going to be a painful wait for them to go on tour here in the US since they seem to be going overseas first.

*

I'm like on a Fantasy/Reality high right now. I wrote about 1/3 of it and right when I finishing typing to you all here, I'm getting on my laptop and writing some more of it. Part 34 will be my Christmas present to you y'all.

Steph W. - You never know what the future holds. Who knows, maybe you'll score a hot job somewhere. I'm sure you'll get a chance to see them. When I was younger I had a hard time seeing Backstreet too since I couldn't drive and had no job. Now that I have had some jobs, it's allowed me to save up for any possible Backstreet event that might come up. I did go a little crazy in 2005 lmao! I plan on going even more crazier in 2008, maybe we can be crazy together :-D

"Jocelyn Loves It When Nick Wiggles Christmas Trees"

I went to the Jingle Ball in San Jose, Ca on Sunday. Backstreet were only hosting. What really surprised me was the amount of Backstreet fans there. They weren't even performing and so many fans came.

I waited for hours in the cold and all I got was them on stage for like 2 minutes total. They came out in the beginning of the show to introduce Vanessa Carlton and then at the end to introduce Elliot Yamin.

I didn't get many pictures since they weren't on stage for long. I wish they sang something. I was hoping they'd at least sing a little Christmas song acapella. Oh, well.

The highlight of the night for me was during an intermission, AJ ran across stage and then Nick crept behind a Christmas tree that was on stage and wiggled it and then peeked over the side with this deviant look on his face, people screamed, then he hid again, then he wigged the tree some more, and disappeared. That was hot.

Nick was wearing an interesting shirt that had a lot of words on it. I wish I could have gotten the chance to read everything on his shirt.

Here are two pictures I took:

Nick & Brian
Nick & AJ

Speaking of Backstreet Boys in person, if and when I'm rich in 2008. I'd love to travel and see Backstreet on tour (whenever that happens) with some of you, my lovely readers. Maybe someday we all can meet up and have a kick Backstreet time. Just give me a roof to stay under and I'm in lol

*

Christmas is coming up! I'm so excited. I want presents damn it! A Nick Carter under my tree will suffice :-D

I was entertaining the thought of writing a Christmas themed visual. On the radio, the song "Jingle Bell Rock" came on and I laughed and thought about calling a story "Jingle Bell Cock." hehe only I would think of such a thing. I won't write it though but it was funny to think about for a moment.

I replied to everyone who left feedback on Fantasy/Reality part 32. I also replied to you Danielle on Part 31. Whenever I add part 34 that's when I'll reply to feedback left on part 33.

Although comment 9 on part 33 I have to answer now because I can't sleep if I don't. But don't worry the other people who left a comment I will reply to you!

Hey Jocelyn. It was great. update soon. i was a little confused in part of the story if viola in nicks dream married aaron. bc she said to her kids daddy aaron.

In the second part of his dream/nightmare/whatever you want to call it, Viola is married to Aaron in there. Nick is considered the twins real/biological father so the twins call him 'daddy.' However since in the dream, Viola married Aaron, Aaron is the twins' step-dad so not to confuse the twins, Viola refers to Aaron as 'daddy Aaron' so the twins know which daddy she's talking about. Does that make sense?

So what I'm trying to say is Nick is 'daddy' to the twins and Aaron is 'daddy Aaron.' I hope you understand that! I'm sorry it confused you and I don't like it when my readers are confused so I just had to clear that up!

Don't forget it's not too late to leave a comment on Fantasy/Reality part 33. I am in the process of brainstorming part 34 and I am excited for it, in many ways lol

Lexi - You're welcome for part 33. Are you sure you're e-mailing NIck Carter and not someone pretending to be Nick Carter? I hope it isn't that youtube Nick because I've heard that person is a poser. Just be careful because I don't want you getting burned by a poser.

Dawn - Awww I hope it works out for Nick and Viola too. I feel a little bad for Nick buuuuuuuut don't you get a little satisfaction from seeing him suffer just a tiny bit ;-) Maybe I'm just evil.

Paty - I've never actually watched that movie "The Family Man" and I hope it doesn't look like I'm stealing ideas from it because I'm not. I'm writing whatever my brain tells me to write.

Sometimes little things I experience make their way into my story. The whole shooting star thing was a last minute thing. It happened to me two times last week and it freaked me out. They both happened while I was driving my car. I hope Nick can make the right decisions too and get his head out of his ass. Awww, you rock too Paty!

Steph S. - Thank you for loving the update! I'm glad you got to see Backstreet in Columbus and have an amazing time!

Steph W. - That's too bad you didn't get to go to Columbus. I'm pretty sure Backstreet will tour in 2008 so I'm sure you'll get a chance to see them.

After a long while here's Fantasy/Reality part 33. I hope I didn't lose too many readers from the story taking a vacation. It feels great not having to worry about assignments/projects/tests and other things.

Please read and review. I value all of your opinions and reading all your feedback really inspires me to write even more. You help keep this story alive.

No feedback means no story and that's a very bad thing, don't ya think?

Some people are just so nice they make me feel like crying. I went to work at ABC on Tuesday and was doing my daily duties of sitting in front of the computer wanting desperately to fall asleep.

The host of the show, Janelle Wang, was on her way to the studio when she stopped by my desk and gave me a card. I was really touched and I said, "Awwww you're so nice Janelle."

I didn't have any free time to open the card so I waited until I got home to read it. When I got home, I just couldn't find the moment to open it so I said I'll open it tomorrow. Well tonight, I opened it and I really wasn't expecting anything to be inside. I thought it was just a card saying 'Merry Christmas' blah blah blah lmao and I was shocked to find two movie tickets!

I was like oh my gosh she's so nice! I really wasn't expecting the card to have anything for me and it was such a pleasant surprise and it really touched my heart that she even bothered to write me a card let alone give me movie tickets. It was just so unexpected and I'm amazed at her generousity.

I know it sounds silly and that movie tickets aren't that big of a deal but to get that from the host of the show means a lot to me. I really look up to Janelle and think she's such a great talk show host and I love her cute personality.

The "Helpless When She Smiles" video premiered yesterday on the German Yahoo site. You can download it at track-back here.

Although the video is a bit on the bland side I liked the flow of it. Nick looked totally hot and even Brian was sizzling hot. It was like Nick who? I want some Brian. The helicopter shots were kind of extreme but it added to the aura of it. The editing was better on this one than on Inconsolable.

*

Steph W. - Awww maybe the pictures don't capture it well and maybe in person it shows more, ya know?

Lexi - You're welcome for the update! I really hope you enjoy part 33 and I really hope you can leave me lots of feedback! :-D

Amber - It was a lot of long days at school but it feel really good to finally be done! It's unbelievable I'm done! I can say I have a degree to my name! Yay! Wait no more, part 33 is here and I'll be watching to see if you leave me feedback hehe

Lisa - I get a lot of satisfaction being able to cross things off my list! Without lists I wouldn't be able to get a lot of things done. Lists really help me a lot. Part 33 is now here so go read it and leave me some feedback!

Guest - Yes Howie did get married! That's so great and he really does look so happy with his wife. There are pictures from OK magazine here.

Dawn - I'm happy for Howie and Leigh too. They really look happy together. Spam is so annoying. I don't want a bigger penis, I don't have one! LoL I can't wait for you to read part 33 and I look forward to reading your feedback.

For those who left a comment on part 32 on the blog, I will reply to you there. Don't worry!

"Hi! - Jocelyn is Protools Certified & apparently I think like a guy "

Friday night I started writing Fantasy/Reality part 33. I think I got 1/3 of it written so I hope you all can wait a little longer. It should be worth the wait.

I feel 5 lbs lighter right now. Doesn't this list of things I have to do look better with things crossed off?

Internship Class:
-Learning Journal Entries (almost halfway done)
-Thank You Letter for my supervisor
-5 page essay on internship

Protools Class:
-add sound/music/dialogue to a 2 minute video in Protools
(this assignment is the hardest for me)

Editing Class:
A project on Avid (for this I was thinking of editing a bunch of Nick videos where he looks hot LMAO if you have any hot videos of Nick send them my way)

This last project is killing me. I went to school Friday night and spent almost 3 hours trying to edit. I was very unsuccessful. I'm supposed to do it on Avid but it was being mean to me so I decided to try it in Final Cut Pro. Even FCP was mean to me hmmmph. So after almost 3 hours of nothingness all I could come up was with a really ugly 30 second commercial about Nick. I'm thinking of going to school Monday morning and trying to do something else.

I am now protools certified. Yay! In my protools class I had to add sound/music/dialogue to a 2 minute and 30 second video in protools. I honestly thought this was the hardest assignment I had. I didn't think I was doing a good job.

For the video I had sound effects and music but I had no dialogue what so ever. I kept watching the video trying of a plot to give it. The only thing I could think of was making the guy a really sleazy guy who fucks every chick he sees in the video lol So I just named him Sam and said he was looking for hot chicks downtown.

I really thought my video would be the worst and I was really nervous because the professor wanted everyone to play their video for the class. When it was my turn, I really wanted to run out of the classroom lol I was just so embarassed but I was soooooo surprised because my classmates were laughing at my video and they were clearly enjoying the dialogue I made up.

My professor was extremely surprised and said, "You think like a guy!" lol (Oh if they only knew I write porn lol)

Another classmate of mine said, "I like that." Another classmate of mine asked my professor, "Can you put that on your website? I want to show my friends."

I got a lot of praise for it and I couldn't believe it. I literally thought of that dialogue Wednesday night and thought it was really bad. It made me happy to get such a positive reaction from everyone. Not to be cocky or anything but I do think my video got the best laugh out of all the videos.

What makes it even sweeter for me is I did this video by myself. It was supposed to be a group project but no one asked me to be in their group and I'm too shy to insert myself into a group. Plus I thought it was better I do it myself so I can have more control over it :-P

On Monday I'll probably go to the lab and get myself a copy of the video and share it with y'all.

If you remember in my January 2007 babbles I mentioned I worked on an independent film at school called "Glory Boy Days." The actor in the movie told me on Thursday that the film made it into the Slamdance Film Festival so they're going to Utah for it.

Dawn - The spam is so annoying grrr... sometimes it's hard having a site about sex. I even get spam e-mails about sex and I really think it's because of this website. Good luck on school in January. Even though technically I'm a college graduate I know there's still some courses out there I'd like to take to further my experience.

Steph W. - I looked at his pictures and I honestly don't see any resemblance at all other than they're both white guys lol

Melissa - You can try finding tickets on ebay or waiting the day of and going to the box office to see if there's any released tickets. I remember in 2003 when Britney Spears came here I bought a ticket to her concert the day of.

"Happy December!"

Something I learned in middle school is procrastination is the thief of time. It definitely is. I'm drowning in projects and assignments right now. I decided to escape from it all and just babble here.

You don't know how much I'd rather be lying on my bed in front of my laptop writing Fantasy/Reality and other stories.

I just finished this production board that I spent most of Saturday night and all of Sunday finishing up. I have to do a presentation in front of class explaining it so I'm a little nervous about it.

Now that the production board is out of the way, here's a list of things I need to finish by this Thursday, December 6th:

Internship Class:
-Learning Journal Entries (almost halfway done)
-Thank You Letter for my supervisor
-5 page essay on internship

Protools Class:
-add sound/music/dialogue to a 2 minute video in Protools
(this assignment is the hardest for me)

This class I have until December 10th to finish it:

Editing Class:
A project on Avid (for this I was thinking of editing a bunch of Nick videos where he looks hot LMAO if you have any hot videos of Nick send them my way)

When school is over, all I want to do is sit back, relax, and catch up on any Backstreet Boys perfomances I haven't been able to watch.

I went to Steve & Barry's and found the hottest jacket ever. The brand is Bitten by Sarah Jessica Parker. When I tried it on I, it was like made just for me.

I've been on sort of a Starbucks high the past few days. In high school I used to go to Starbucks almost everyday afterschool. Once I got to college I didn't go as much. I'd go probably once in a blue moon. This past week I've had cravings for a Vanilla Latte so I indulged myself on Wednesday night and Thursday night. Then on Saturday night I tried the Strawberries and Creme frapp and whewwwwwwwwww that was heaven. I also got a toffee almond bar which I know is a ton of calories but gosh it's sooooooooo good.

*

Dawn - I read your e-mail and I'll reply to you the moment I have time to breathe.

Steph W. - I actually couldn't find the myspace you were talking about.

Melissa - Happy Holiday's to you too! I live on the west coast so I'm not able to travel to NYC to see Backstreet. Are you going?

"Jocelyn Just Babbles & Feels Sorta Kinda Like Cinderella"

I spent my whole weekend doing homework :-O My goodness, I can't believe I am almost halfway done with this class assignment. I have one more part to go before I'm finally finished. This week and next week are going to be very busy for me. I have a gazillion projects due. I even have one assignment due today and I don't know why I'm here typing to you all when I should be doing that.

I don't think I'll have time to write any Fantasy/Reality this week and next week. I do have the scenes all mixed up in my mind.

This is so random. While I'm in shower these song lyrics pop into my head, "You're my fantasy. You're my reality." I'm thinking are those really song lyrics?

So I google those lyrics and find out they're from the song "Every Woman In The World" by Air Supply lol I thought it was so weird that out of nowhere it just popped into my head. Back when I was a little girl my parents listened to the Air Supply record (yes record before CDs lmao) a lot.

I was reflecting on my writing a few moments ago and noticed most of my stories lately involve a lot of blow jobs. I wonder why?

Black Friday was crazy. I went to all these stores. First I started at the mall closest to my house. I got an e-mail saying the Neiman Marcus Last Call store was going to have a midnight madness. I honestly thought it would be the only store open but I was wrong. The whole mall was open and it was packed! I didn't buy anything but my mom got these really cute Marc Jacobs sunglasses. They used to be $290.00 but she got them for $70.00.

After that I took a nap and woke up at 3AM to get ready to go to JCPenny. I'm so funny, I got 3 snowglobes and my mom got 3 too.

Then my mom and I drove to Old Navy and there was a long line already. I honestly thought I had a shot at getting one of those mp3 players for free but they only gave it to the first 50 customers. Booooooo.

I then went to sleep and woke up at around 11am. This time, my dad, my mom, and my 2 cousins went to Valley Fair Mall. I chose that mall because I really wanted to try on the Chanel flats I mentioned in my previous babble at Nordstrom. I saw the flats and it was love at first sight *siiiigh*

I tried them on and it fit perfectly. It was like Cinderella and her whole glass slipper thing lol The store didn't have size 38.5 so I tried size 39 and it was just right! My gosh I wanted to buy them right then and there but I wanted to wait to see if I could get a better deal somewhere else. It's a pain to wait because I'm so scared they'll be gone. The shoe guy told me it was the last pair left. Any Nordstroms give cards you can provide I'll gladly take :-P

*screams* I don't know how much longer I can wait until I have these shoes on my feet lmao

Since it is Christmas time, I've been listening to some Christmas music. I really enjoy Christina Aguilera's song "This Year" and Clay Aiken's version of "Mary Did You Know."

I listened to Christmas Time by Backstreet once and I honestly just don't like it. I hate how Nick sounds in it. He sounds like a little girl. I'm so glad his voice changed lol That's something I noticed on Unbreakable. On Never Gone and even Now or Never he had this Bryan Adams wannabe thing that irked me. I didn't like it when he'd rasp and scratch his voice. Now he's actually singing and projecting which is nice on my ears.

*

Dawn - Black Friday is madness. I couldn't believe how crowded all the malls and stores I went to were. It's like everyone in the world came out to shop. Sometimes the sales aren't even worth it. All that % off really goes towards the gas you waste trying to find a parking spot lmao

Ooooooh you touched a Coach bag. Do you know what it looked like? I go to the Coach website like once a week and stare at everything lol

Before I got obsessed with bags, I used to think it was so ridiculous to spend over $100.00 on a bag and look at me now
:-[

I've been lucky though with the two coach bags I have. The first one I got a Marine Corps. base so I got a discount on that and then when I worked at Macy's last year I got a 40% discount on the last Coach bag I bought. It retailed for either $218.00 or $228.00 and I got it for about $171.00!

If you really are interested in a Coach bag, Macy's is having their Friends & Family 20% thing starting this Wednesday Nov. 28. You can get 20% off Coach if that helps you!

Steph S. - I hope your day at work during Black Friday went well! Thank you for leaving a comment & loving the update. Don't wait forever again :-P

Steph W. - Your ex must be really hot if he looks like Nick. That's cute he posted he likes Backstreet. Every person should like Backstreet Boys :-D

"Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! - More Christmas Wishes - Nick's Owie & Some Pics from Spain - Black Friday - Weird Relatives Galore"

I'd just like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving today!

My dad bought a honey baked ham. We seem to have that every year. I was hoping this year we'd have a turkey just for the hell of it but no turkey for us. My mom bought steak which I think is way better. Gosh I'm gonna gain hella pounds today :-(

*

Okay, I changed my mind!

This is all I want for Christmas, Chanel Cambon flats in size 38.5.

Apparently they're at Nordstroms in Valley Fair, Saks 5th Avenue in San Francisco, and the Chanel Boutique.

If I feel like it, I'll probably go to the mall tomorrow and try them on to see how they fit on my feet. They do cost a heavy penny. I was reading online that they cost $570.00 :-O but I'm in the mood for splurging on something big.

Feel free to donate to Jocelyn's Christmas Wish Fund :-D I have a paypal account! Every dollar counts!

I haven't been keeping up with the story on Nick's owie on his face. I don't really know what happened.

If you haven't seen it here's a picture of Nick and his cut face:

1

Other than that here's some pictures of Backstreet in Spain doing some promo. Nick sure loves that red jacket. It was hot the first time around... now not so much.

This is my fav picture from it:

(What the hell is Nick doing to his mouth? lol)

1

*

This Friday is Black Friday and depending on how I feel when I wake up in the middle of the night I'll probably go out to the mall. What I love to do every year is go to JCPenny and get the free snow globe they give out. I don't even really shop on Black Friday but I get lots of pleasure from getting the free snow globe.

After JCPenny, I'll probably go to Old Navy and find some jeans or a sweater. I'm in desperate need of jeans!

I'm trying not to spend over $100.00. If i'm good $50.00. Let's see if that happens lol

*

Relatives are just weird. My uncle was inviting my other uncle and his family to drive up to Seattle for Thanksgiving. He was like don't stop at the rest areas in Oregon because there's vampire. So needless to say my other uncle was like nevermind, we're not going to Seattle.

*

Lisa - You're welcome for the update. Thank you for liking it!

Dawn - It's nice to know you thought it was hot. I wasn't even sure if I wanted to throw that in but I was in the mood so why not hehe I'm glad everything went smooth with my segment too! It feels really good to have done it.

Like what you said, as long as Nick is okay, it shouldn't be a big deal. It's just a tiny cut, Nick will survive.

I'm also with you on this whole Nick on youtube thing. I'm not buying it until he posts a picture salute or video salute. It just seems poserish to me.

Jessica - Have fun at the lil black dress party. I wish I could go but I'm on the wrong side of the country.

Mandy - And updates love you back :-D

Steph W. - I agree, they were great on Ellen. Of course as usual Nickolas was a hottie.

nickcarter280 - This whole Nick getting hurt fiasco I really think is blown out of proportion. I don't know exactly what happened, I wasn't there. Fans can be really... how can I put it enthusiastic around Backstreet lol

I wish you had money too! We all need donations. Hopefully in the future we'll be all successful people. I do think it's a nice bag, the only thing that kills it for me is it's made out of vinyl and not leather. I'll just do my best and wait until I have enough money to buy a purse made out of leather.

In that picture where Nick & AJ are watching CNN, I love how they're so close to each other lol They're like one inch away from cuddling :-P

sadie - Like Lexi said, it should be on that website and of course there's a picture here too lol

Lexi - Yep, Nick is okay. He's a big dude, he can take the pain!

My segment that I produced on "The View From The Bay" went very smoothly. It feels so good to have one thing I produced under my belt. It's one less thing I have to worry about now. It's so addicting though, I've been looking around for other potential guests to book on the show but haven't really found any.

I also loved that my segment was the last one on the show because it's the Oprah lead in. Most people turn on their TV's before Oprah starts her show :-P

If you have time you can watch the segment I produced here. If you watch the video and you see the book that's between the hosts and Sasha, that's my own copy of the book I provided to be put on the set :-D

Anyone see the pictures of Aaron with Hilary Duff? Is he hanging out with all his ex's? First Brooke Hogan now Hilary lol

Pictures of Aaron and Hilary Here

If you look at the drink he's holding I notice it's mineral water. I loathe mineral water. I think it tastes so gross. What's the point of carbonating water? Just give me a soda please :-)

Backstreet Boys are going to be at a Lil Black Dress party. That sounds so fun! I wish I could go! If anyone here goes, have fun for me.

Info about it here!

Wow, I have no one to reply to in the shoutbox this update. This is like the first time this has happened. Oh, no!

"Support Jocelyn Today - Getting Published Again - Fan Pictures of Backstreet in Kentucky"

Today is the big day. The segment I'm producing for the talk show "The View From The Bay" is going to be aired at 3 PM Pacific time in the Bay Area California on ABC KGO channel 7.

If you live in Los Angeles, CA you can watch it in the evening at 10 PM on KABC-TV.

If you don't live in either area then you can watch it streamed live at 3 PM Pacific time at http://viewfromthebay.com

PLEASE, if you can watch the show and watch my segment. Plus you get to see my lovely name in the credits at the end of the show!

My guest is Sasha Cagen and she has a book out called "To-Do List: From Buying Milk to Finding a Soulmate." I personally am obsessed with making lists. I feel so much better when I have things written down and it makes me feel so good when I finally get the chance to cross it off.

The show has been very successful here in the Bay Area. We've been getting over a million viewers plus we're beating Days of Our Lives! :-D

I'm excited because got the final word that my story called "Pink is the Enemy" will be getting published in an anthology called "Yes Sir." It's edited by senior Penthouse editor Rachel Kramer Bussel.

Honestly, out of all the stories I've written that have gotten published this is my favorite.

It's amazing how a single thing can get me writing. I didn't even think I was able to a write a story at the time (this was May 2007) but I was online and I was skimming through a blog that mentioned skirts. I personally don't wear skirts very much but I got this vision in my head and once I wrote the first line in the story, "Take off your skirt" I just couldn't stop writing.

I absolutely love it when the words just flow through my veins. It's so empowering.

The book comes out next year in March 2008.

The book cover makes me giggle:

nickcarter280 - I read your update and I'm really curious to see what transpires between everyone. I wonder how much of a riff her sister, Karen, will cause lol I love the whole album personally. I can't wait to see the Helpless When She Smiles music video. They apparently shot it in Southern California this week so I hope we get to see that soon.

I really missed Nick giving us some sort of silly message to decode in his thank you's. Honestly I didn't even read their thank you's yet. I'm a bad fan, spank me. Nick needs to post another bulletin on myspace. Those are always fun to read.

mrqs - I hope you were able to get the link to part 31 working!

Paty - I love you too Paty :-D I am so honored I could make your day! You being happy makes me berry happy. I hope you enjoyed part 31.

Dawn - I didn't even realize that there was no annoying sticker at the top! lol I knew something was different about opening the CD. The only CDs I buy are Backstreet related CDs, how sad is that?

Guest - Thank you for thinking part 31 was good! The story is really going in so many directions. I don't even know if I should even be sharing this with y'all but I'm in the mood so I'll share... I honestly had Fantasy/Reality planned out. This was before part 30 and I thought it was going to be smooth sailing from there until I got the whole earthquake idea and that really shook things up (no pun intended :-P) So honestly I don't know what's going to happen. I have an idea of what I want the ending to be but I change my mind a lot. I am excited to start part 32 and I have an idea of scenes to write ;-) Stay tuned!

People at the blog, I honestly will reply to your comments there soon. I know I said in the last update I would and I will eventually. It's not too late to leave a comment on Part 31.

Someone LD found an interview AJ and Nick did for a Swedish magazined called Veckorevyn. Nick discusses how he recently got out of a relationship. This is what he said:

You are both single, is it hard to trust girls when you are a celebrity?
Nick: Yes, for both of us it has been hard. I just recently broke up with a girl that I have been dating for a while. She seemed ok, but after a while it showed that she was only after me for being famous and my money.

I have to assume he's talking about Julie. I was a good girl and kept my mouth shut about her while they were together. Ever since some shady stuff was happening on LD and on her myspace I just got a bad feeling about her.

To me it just seemed she craved attention and people were loving her because she looked "normal" and unlike the typical girl Nick would hook up with. However, she always rubbed me the wrong way. I always felt she was using Nick for his fame to get herself far in her career and to get famous herself. It's like helllllooooo she was an aspiring model and went to FIDM lol In January when I was talking to my friend about her and she was like "Can't Nick find a girl with a real job?"

and...

Sometimes I think Nick says things to appease us fans. Actions speak louder than words Nick. Here's what Nick has to say about size 0 chicks:

" It's not hot. Some actresses look like skeletons, it's ugly as hell. I believe that this trend will disappear soon and that it will be trendy to have a normal healthy body." - Nick

Most, if not all of the chicks he's dated have been super thin!

Interesting Interview!

It's nice to read about Backstreet talking about sex. That's Jocelyn's kind of topic.

Scans here:

I'm sure Nick has fucked in stranger places than his Escalade. Come on Nick, I know you're more freaky than that.

So I'm in the midst of reading this book called "I Love Bad Boys" and the first part of the book is about a lady named Becky who's 25 years old and a virgin. I was thinking oh my gah am I going to be a virgin at 25 :-(

Not that I'm dying for sex or anything but I find it kind of ironic that I'm 22 years old and still haven't had sex yet. It's practically my job to write about sex, yet I've never done it. I've never even come close.

Maybe that's why I'm good at writing about sex??? hmmm...

I'm so in love with Brian's verse in "Unsuspecting Sunday Afternoon." The whole song paints a picture in my mind and I love songs that do that to me.

The part that gets me is:

I was captured by that stare
Now I'm shattered but I don't care
And the people walking by don't have a clue
That I kissed your face
Till the sun was in our eyes
Till the afternoon arrived
I can't explain
Last night I saw the fireworks
The kind of pain that never hurts
The one you hate to love that's made for you
Another unsuspecting Sunday afternoon

Downpour is another beautiful song. I love it when Nick goes "ohhhhh I" hehe

Dawn - I have a really bad case of senioritis. I'm just not up for school. There's so many projects I have to do that I'm so behind on. It's just building up and I just wanted to stay home for one day and relax. Writing Fantasy/Reality part 30 put me at ease. I hope you've got a chance to buy Unbreakable.

Steph S. - Thanks for loving the update. Unbreakable is awesome and I do love the songs but it doesn't feel the same without Kevin present.

Steph W. - I love those songs too, especially Panic and Everything But Mine.

Lexi - I hope you enjoy part 31 thank you for thinking part 30 was goooood.

Lisa - You're welcome for the update! I love that we're so caught up in this story that we're getting late for work and school lol

nickcarter280 - Happy birthday!!!!!!!!! *huggles* This update is dedicated to you :-D

Thank you for loving the last update. Maybe in the future we can all write a script with him. Scene 1 Nick has sex with Jocelyn :-D I'm so happy to be published and have an award winning short film. 2007 has been really good for me career wise. You haven't bought Unbreakable yet?!?!?! Go buy it now! lol It's a great album. I love that Nick isn't singing like he think he's Bryan Adams.

As you've mentioned, I am skeptical too of this hurtandconfused person being Nick. It could be him and it could not be him.

I'll be sure to check your update in a while :-)

Sadie - Thank you for taking a dive and leaving a message on the shout box. I love reading what everyone has to say. That's nice of "Nick" to write you back but being who I am, I'm still skeptical of this person being Nick. At least with Nick's myspace we know its him because he posts videos there. Just be careful because it's easy to pretend on the internet.

If you left a comment on Fantasy/Reality part 30 go check out my reply to you there. I should be comment number 8.

My brain is just filled with new Backstreet Boys songs right now. They are so catchy and are constantly playing in my head. I'm starting to enjoy the song "In Pieces." This album is growing so fast on me. It's the only album I've been listening to this whole week.

I am so anxious to see these dudes on tour. I live for their concerts.

I personally haven't seen this ad yet but I read on LD that their song "You Can't Let Go" was used in a promo for ABC's Grey's Anatomy. That's great promo for them!

I'm not going to Kimmel afterall because of the writers striking. Thankfully there was a statement on http://www.backstreetboys.com saying Kimmel is postponed. It saves me a trip to Hollywood. The Ellen show is still taping so whoever is going have fun. Whenever Kimmel reschedules, I'll definitely be there.

I'm so glad I got to see them on Jay Leno before the strike.

As a writer myself and hopefully a future member of the writer union, I hope the writers can get a fair contract. In my opinion without writers, tv shows are nothing.

I forgot to mention that the short film I worked on called Charly and Estella was in the top 16 in the entire Northern California! The short film won best use of mobile, so we did beat the smart schools like Stanford, UC Berkeley, and UC Davis! :-P

I read part of an interview Nick did where he mentioned he helped write a short film. That's just so cute to me that he's interested in writing scripts.

Here's an excerpt from the interview:

You've just finished filming a movie called Fast Glass with Heroes star Greg Grunberg. How was it?

It was amazing. I met lots of great people, I learnt a lot, it was awesome. Also, I met a great director [Kim Ball] who was also the writer of the movie and we wrote a short film together. So next year I'm going to film it. I'm directing it, acting in it, and I'm also one of the writers.

I wish I could think of an idea to write a short film script.

*

Dawn - Maybe I'm biased but I really enjoy Unbreakable. It's a great mix of songs and yes most of the songs are them bitching about wanting and losing a girl but eh, it's fun for me to listen to. It took a few listens for me to finally get into it and now I'm really feeling it. A Marine Corps ball sounds so fun! I definitely recommend getting the album.

"Jocelyn's thoughts on Unbreakable - Meeting Lance Bass from 'Nsync "

I've listened to the album probably 6 times already. The songs that stick out for me are:

Unsuspecting Sunday Afternoon
Treat Me Right
Unmistakable
Everything But Mine
Panic
Downpour

Treat Me Right sounds so good in my car. It's a good song to listen to in the car. I'm not really a fan of AJ's voice but he sounds good in his verse for this song.

I like the way Nick sounds in Panic.

The aura of Unsuspecting Sunday Afternoon is so beautiful. It sets a tone and Brian and Nick sound wonderful with their verses. The lyrics are very touching.

It's really obvious to me that Max Martin was not present on this album. From Never Gone I liked what Max did with I Still and Climbing The Walls.

*

No Fantasy/Reality this week. I'm at the point where I want to write it so bad it's stopping me from writing it. Does that make sense?

*

As I mentioned in the shout box, early Friday morning I drove down to Burbank, CA to see Backstreet on Jay Leno. It was a lot of waiting but I enjoyed myself. I also finally got my Howie autograph. He was the only Backstreet Boy I didn't have an autograph from so now my collection is complete.

I'm going to LA for Kimmel, so if you're going let me know so that we can meet up.

*

On October 30th, Lance Bass from 'Nsync did a book signing in San Francisco so I got to briefly meet him and get a picture. I really liked how the picture came out.

Jocelyn and Lance Bass

This event was so organized. I wished all events I went to went smoothly like this. There were no annoying employees yelling at people and there weren't any annoying fans around. Everyone around was nice. This gay guy even struck up a conversation with me. I told him I was a Backstreet Boys fan and he was like why aren't you in New York for their virgin signing?! lol

*

I finally replied to every single comment left on Fantasy/Reality part 27, 28, & 29 so go check it out to see what I said. It's still not too late to leave a comment if you haven't already.

Steph S. - I don't know if anyone has screen caps of Nick's new myspace video. I haven't even seen the new ones yet. I'm so bad. Thank you for the congrats! I did see the comment you left on part 29 and I replied to it on the blog.

Dawn - They are so mean to Viola :-( Awww Dawn *huggles* Losing someone you love is really tough. I'm so behind! I cannot keep up with Nick and his myspace videos anymore lol

I don't even know why I wrote Miss Julidene's Sexy Items because I wrote about something I'd never be interested in doing to a guy ever. I think it makes more sense as a lesbian story than just a straight story. I'll have to look for the nick version of the story, I don't know where it is on my computer lol

Paty - Yes I'm alive! I live far away from the fire that happened so I'm okay but last week there was an earthquake here. The funny thing is I didn't feel it! Everyone in my family felt it but me lol To find out what Viola does just keep reading :-D

It touches me that my writing can help improve your english! I was scared no one would understand what I meant with Nick calling that guy a fruitcake lol You have a great week too!

Steph W. - Thank you for the congrats! It feels great to be able to get my work out to the public.

Lexi - Thank you for the congrats! Are you sure it's Nick? lol That's nice though of him to reply. I know nothing about drums and don't worry about the numerous posts! Post as much as you want :-D

Sarah - I'm enjoying the album very much! What are you favorite songs on it?

Mandy - Yay! I love Nick's smile in the layout :-D

Jessica - You're so lucky to have been able to be backstage with the guys! I do try to go to most of their performances in Southern California. If you're going to see them on Kimmel let me know because as of right now I'm going! Hook me up! lol As I said in the shoutbox, when is Ellen taping? If I know when, I might be able to go to that too. Can you e-mail me Xanderbsb@aol.com or message me on myspace and let me know asap?

Lisa - Awwwwwww! I'm glad you love Fantasy/Reality and read it all so far. I'm hoping to write more of it soon so please do come back and check for updates. Thanks for saying I'm talented! It really means a lot!

"Fantasy/Reality Part 29 - I'm Getting Published Again :-O - I'm still an Unbreakable Virgin "

Nick has a beautiful smile, doesn't he? :-D

Another afternoon update. What's wrong with me? LoL I miss my late night updates.

Last night I was about to update saying I felt bad because I hadn't written anything for Fantasy/Reality. I wrote everything below this babble last night intending to give you all something to know that I'm still alive lol However by the time I got to the part where I usually reply to everyone's comments in the shout box I quit and went to bed since I was very sleepy.

My routine is usually before I go to sleep, I get on my laptop and do some last minute checking on the internet. I like to re-read certain fan fics and use that to help me fall asleep.

I then got the itch to start Fantasy/Reality part 29 thinking if I didn't start now I probably wouldn't start for another 2 weeks. I wrote some of it last night and then early this morning I managed to finish it. That surprised me since I didn't think I'd have the strength to finish it but knowing there are people like you anxiously awaiting for the next part really pushed me.

For your reading pleasure I present Fantasy/Reality part 29. As I always say, I appreciate any feedback you can provide. Feedback is like medicine to me and makes me feel better and reminds me to keep on writing and not to quit.

I am drowning in school and work right now. It's weird because last semester I took 8 classes and that was a breeze compared to this semester I only have 4 classes but theyr'e soooooooo hard!

It did surprise me though. I had a midterm in an audio/radio class I'm taking. I didn't study nor did I read a single chapter in the book. There were 20 questions and I thought I'd only get 10 right. I happened to get a 19/20 and that just stunned me! For some questions I just did the eeny meeny miney mo (however that stuff is spelled but you get the idea lol)

Then last week I wasn't home all weekend because I went to San Diego. When I left, I saw the smoke from those fires. I didn't even know how much a big deal those fires were until I got home.

I can't believe October is almost gone. I can't believe Halloween is almost here.

*

This is probably going to be a complicated story but I want to share it with you all! :-D I'm getting published not once but twice!

Last year I submitted 3 stories to be considered for editor Zane's anthologies. Earlier this year I received a rejection letter from Zane saying she wouldn't be using my story. The problem was, she didn't specify which story! I thought she rejected all 3.

Last night I check my e-mail and see that she accepted my stories "Miss Julidene's Sexy Items" and "The Mistress Charisma Treatment." I was so surprised to learned I was accepted!

I think I posted "Miss Julidene's Sexy Items" last year on my site. It was a story about Nick and a sex shop owner named Julidene. I decided to fit the theme with the book, I had to change the story into a lesbian theme. This will be my first girl/girl story getting published. Just to clarify, no I'm not a lesbian and I'm not bisexual lol

Then last year around September 2006, there was a call for submissions for a bondage type story. I wrote a story called "The Mistress Charisma Treament." However, Alison, the editor rejected it so I was sad and didn't tell anyone about it or let anyone read it. Then I find out that Zane is asking for stories with an Asian theme for an anthology called Asian Spice.

I think, hey I'm Asian, I have to be in this book! Barely making the deadline, I mail the story to Zane. I thought since she didn't reply for a long time that she rejected me for the book.

Then in March 2007 Alison e-mails me again and tells me she's interested in using "The Mistress Charisma Treatment" in her book called "H is for Hardcore." I got my hopes up again only to find out that she didn't go ahead and use my story in the book.

However, last night, I got an e-mail from Zane saying she wants to use "The Mistress Charisma Treatment" in her Asian Spice anthology. I'm so glad because honestly I'd rather be in the Asian Spice anthology!

The books containing my stories are slated to come out next year in May 2008 so look out for them both!

So now I have more homework because I have to edit those two stories and make sure they're clean of grammar mistakes and then I have to sign, send, AND fax both contracts to the editor.

*

Just call my producer Jocelyn! I've been going crazy trying to find a guest for a segment on the talk show I work for called "The View From The Bay." I was sooooooooo close to getting Lance Bass from 'NSync on the show but the executive producer didn't think he fit the show's target audience :(

I finally found one lady named Sasha Cagen who has a book coming out on November 6th called "To-Do List." It feels great to finally book a guest (that the executive producer approves of).

I've been meaning to tell you all of my fascination with making lists. I always make to-do lists. It makes me feel good to cross something off my list.

Since I helped get Sasha on the show, I got an advance copy of her book and I flipped through it and it's cool to see how other peoples lists are similar to how I create my lists. Now I wish I could have kept some lists I've made just to reflect on them.

For instance everytime I go on a trip, such as Backstreet related events, I always have to make a list of things I need to bring so I don't forget anything important.

You can watch the show live online at 3PM Pacific time on http://www.viewfromthebay.com My guest is scheduled to be on the show Friday November 16th.

If any of you know anyone who would fit for the show feel free to talk to me about it. We like to book people who can provide interesting topics for mothers.

*

I also can't believe Backstreet's new album is coming out this week! I'm so excited! I'm still an Unbreakable virgin. I know the album leaked but I haven't listened to the whole album. I'm saving myself for October 30th lmao The only full songs I've heard from the album are Inconsolable, Helpless When She Smiles, and Everything But Mine.

I guess I'm weird but I get more enjoyment out of listening to the CD for the first time rather than downloading the leaks. I think CDs have better quality sound anyway.

I'm so behind on Bsb stuff! I haven't watched any videos and interviews they've done overseas. I did read Nick's journal entry on backstreetboys.com and the blog he did on his myspace.

*

Dawn- Thank you for saying part 28 was a good chapter. Olivia is a good person for making sure Viola is okay.

Paty - You have a nice week too! To find out what happens next go read part 29 now! lol I appreciate you asking me if I'm okay. I've just been so consumed with school and work. I barely have a moment to breathe now. All I have are the weekends to relax and take a break from all the madness. I hope you enjoy part 29 and I'll definitely be waiting for your feedback on it.

Steph W. - I love Amanda's facial expressions. In the movie She's The Man, I've never laughed so hard before. I'm glad she was so nice :-)

Steph S. - I hope you got a chance to read part 28! Did you get a chance to leave a comment? There's a lot of readers who leave anonymous comments so sometimes I can't figure out who's who.

nickcarter280 -Don't die so you can read part 29! :-P I love that Nick is creative with his ideas. It's great that he takes the time to do video blogs. He obviously loves the attention and he does a great job with making videos. Thank you for saying you love the shape of my eyes. i'm just so paranoid about them because in pictures they always come out weird and uneven to me :-( Also thank you for your concern as well. I am okay and as I've mentioned, life is just pulling me in all sorts of directions. I hope you enjoy part 29!

Melissa - I would hope in real life Nick would do the right thing and step up to the responsiblity that comes with having a child. I can see him lecturing his kid about RESPECT :-P Thank you for saying the story is great and please check out the latest update I added and leave some feedback on part 29 :-)

Danielle - Thank you for loving Fantasy/Reality. It loves you back :-D It's good to know it's getting better and better. There's so much pressure on my end to maintain the suspense and excitement. I do have a facebook and myspace page. My myspace is private but I add anyone if they message me and let me know they visit my website. My myspace address is:

You can look for me on facebook under my e-mail address xanderbsb @ aol.com

I know I'm behind on replying to comments left on Fantasy/Reality part 27 and 28. I will leave replies to you all asap!

On Thursday, Amanda Bynes came to the Bay Area to do a meet and greet at Newpark Mall. She has a new clothing line called "Dear" which she was promoting at a store called "Steve & Barry's."

Amanda is one of my favorite actresses because she's in my favorite movie "She's The Man" where she plays Viola Hastings. I also love that she appears to be very down to earth.

Before I left to meet her at the mall I was feeling bummed because I hate the shape of my eyes. I wish I had a different shape of eyes.

I was expecting the meet and greet to be fast and barely have any time to talk to her.

When it was my turn, I was just stunned at beautiful she was in person. After the hi, how are you parts of our conversation, out of nowhere she told me, "You have beautiful eyes."

That totally shocked me, especially since a few hours before I was feeling sad about my eyes. For her to say that to me really made my year lol I didn't get a picture with her since they were so strict on camera's but I'd take her compliment over a picture any day.

I also think her clothing and accessories line is so cute for a good price. I was expecting her clothes to be only for little girls and skinny chicks. Thankfully there was a good variety and I found a sweater than actually fit me and a really cute wristlet! The wristlet cost only $5.98! I was expecting it to cost over $20.00 so it surprised me to see on the receipt it was only $5.98.

On Friday, Vivica A. Fox was on the show I work for "The View From The Bay" and wow, she's really pretty in person. I was expecting her to have an attitude and not having anything to do with me but she was so nice.

She said "Hi it's nice to meet you Jocelyn" and shook my hand. Since to get to the studio you have to go to the left, I told her to go to the left and she started singing Beyonce's song "Irreplaceable" where the lyrics go "the the left, to the left."

Dawn - I miss not-like-you too. It was a great site but I understand how hard it is to maintain a site. I love livedaily so much. It's my drugs.

Steph S. - Have fun Columbus. I think they're headlining right? It should be a good show. Good luck on meeting them.

Melissa - It's funny you ask that because a few days ago I was mapping out Viola's pregnancy in my mind. She's over 3 and a half months pregnant in the story. She has about 5 and a half months to go.

If you left a comment on Fantasy/Reality part 27, I'll be leaving you a reply there in a while :) So look out for it.
